But mobutu was a pawn on the chessboard of the americans and belgians

If lumumba was less principled and fell into bed with the americans no matter how mobutu felt he wouldn't have dies so....

Your grasp of African history is thorough, for sure. If not Mobutu, then some other willing African soldier would have deposed Lomumba for sure.
