Hello, i have a serious question/concern. please what happens if i arrive NYSC camp late - the morning of Thursday 26th Jan, will i miss the registration? or will I be able to register that morning before swearing in ceremony? also what time is the swearing in? i am travelling from abroad and may be late for the camp, please can anyone help? Reg close by mid night 25th jan 2017.
So I guess that's late.
Try make your journey earlier.

Registration ends on 25th Jan although in the last stream, registration was extended by a day. Doesn't necessarily mean we'll have such luck. Endeavour to come as early as possible. If yi miss registration, you forfeit camp.

Tell them say na from abroad you come, finish.

You fit show them ur ticket as evidence sef.

To do all the necessary tests, na ya money dey talk. Some hospitals wont even bother , they will just give you paper for less the amount. I think i want to do the tests to be on the safe side.

I actually did all the test and by the time I got back dia around 12pm for my results...d price had skyrocketed to 3k....naso me sha je IFA today...

So I went to the Abia state general hospital (cottage hospital) for the medical certificat./report and this is a run down of my expenses..

Card- 300
Basic tests including (urinalysis, genotype, and like 3 others I don't know) - 4000
Xray-5000
Medical certificate - 1000
They said I'll pay 3000 to sign the cert (this one wowed me)
Total - 13,300

I was actually referred to another lab for the X-ray.
Folks a full check up is expensive

I yaf got my medical certificate o! Hope dem no go ask me test result coz i no do any test o. Na just eye examination. I know my genotype, BG, HIV na -ve o!, malaria at most 2+, i get Blood, if na for fitness i get muscle and Mancho....what else do dey need? Let me know o jare....

urinalysis and pcv nko...pcv is very important so as to if u won't just fall down during camp activities...

pls I want to ask if the medical certificate is suppose to contain any result of your test. cos mine just wrote that " I am fit for the exercise" then signed and stamped

Am a corper 16B stream1,camp open on the 24th of November last year which was Thursday and corp member were still registered on Monday,though NYSC wont tell you this because they know corp members will like to take chance,so please if you intend travelling to campon 26 be back in the country on or before 24 cos you never can tell where you will be posted talking of distance,its even advisable yiu get to camp early early,the registration alone canbe tiring,another thing again is it depends on camp official,
Do have a safe trip and a wonderful camping experience

This medical report is it not just a statement to prove that you are healthy? I already did one before in Nov due to my asthma and do I need another?

I think it shouldn't be so high though. Really don't know the price as my folks did it for me.

Just a report to prove that you are healthy and can cope with the excercise....

If you have done one,you dont need to do it again

Lolz. You didnt do xray ? A friend did his for 12,500 naira, xray included . I was like kini? Wetin dem dey check fa? I guess it depends on the amount of tests you want carried out.

Yes o my dear. Traveling frm Enugu to Benin 2morrow. Then do it when i get there but on a second thought i decided to do it at Enugu today. Its 1k, if u don't want to go thru d normal text procedure but if u want hold ur 6k and above.

Is it a general hospital, am not sure I can see a place in lag for 1k,

Okay Ma, but Ma, shouldn't the doctor know this or there are different types of medical report which some would exclude some details like removing or adding urinalysis

The doctors know what to do. I'm not a medical student. I only worked in a medical lab during IT
