Following the emergence of Integrated circuit which gave birth to portable computers, portablility has become uppermost in mind when the thought for a new gadget is conceived. For laptops and Tablet Pc's the  ultimate aim has been to produce a very portable laptop or tablet PC with high end specs. Still talking about portable computers, computer manufactures over time have made lots of efforts to bring desktop grade GPU'S to portable computer's, and in this light Asus has shown to us that they have the capability to push the portability game harder.

The Asus transformer 3 pro is the first laptop to support Nividia geforce GTX 1080 graphics card. This tablet PC was manufactured with Microsoft line of surface pro tablet PC in mind  particularly the surface pro 4.

Below is a quick review of this awesome gaming Tablet PC;

Taking a casual look  at this tablet PC one may  mistake it for another variant of the surface pro 4.

This tablet is built with a magnesium body which is  slightly darker compared to the magnesium body featured on the surface pro 4. Taking a close look you will discover a disparity in button placements in both PC's and also the  Asus transformer 3 pro has an adjustable kick stand where as the surface pro 4 doesn't.
Taking a front view of this tablet you will find two front facing cameras which is common to most tablet PC's One of them is a 2mp front facing camera  while the other is an infrared camera which supports windows hello face recognition. Still taking a front view this tablet possess a 12.6 inch display which has 2,880 x 1,920 pixels with  a screen density of 275 PPI. The problem with this display is that its not as bright as the surface pro 4, even with full brightness you are going to have issues seeing outside in daylight. Just below its display you will find two  front facing speakers developed by Harman kardon. On top of it's frame you will find its air vents.

A back view of this tablet reveals its 13MP rear camera together with its Asus logo just below.

Just like the surface pro 4 this tablet features a back light detachable keyboard which is a little better than the one featured on the surface pro 4 when it comes to gaming, the detachable keyboard featured on this tablet shows better key travel when compared to the surface pro 4. The keyboard on this tablet could be laid flat or position in an angle to give an ergonomic feeling, this is made possible by the magnets found on the keyboard. Its mouse pad  is driven with windows precision drivers, for now its not perfect you are going to experience cases where  the cursor jumps around sometimes. We hope that future updates will solve this problem.

Which ever variant of this tablet you are purchasing, a stylus pen is going to be included in the box. Unlike the surface pro 4 this stylus pen is not attachable to the table on any side.

On one side of this tablet you have a 3.5mm headphone Jack, volume buttons, a micro SD slot and on the other side you have its USB type-C / thunder bolt port, HDMI port,USB 3.0 port.
Its USB type-C port allows you to connect external  Read more..

my problem with this transformers is that they usually have small screen. they will only get my attention when I see a 14 to 15 inch screen.
