I was reading through a blog some few days ago about the fastest animals and their speed km/hour and I learnt that a horse can win a car on a sprint race and I was completely baffled.

Really want to know how true is this.

Its untrue. Modern cars are faster than most animals.

Cheetah remains the fastest 'land' animal, but isn't known for endurance_ they most times give up on their preys if the chase tarries. This automatically disqualifies it.

There are also species of antelopes that run faster than a Quarter horse (which I think is the fastest sprint horse).

So, what car , what horse and how many metres sprint race?
Maybe one of those slowest cars...huh'

its true most animals can not be faster than some modern cars e.g ferrari, but what would you say about the speed of a cheetah?

The max speed of a cheetah is approx 75mph sprints, a modern family sedan can run up to 120mph if not more.

wow....and if on a sprint race with a car like ferrari, what will be the outcome?

A modern ferrari could max 230pmh but I know most cars are electronically limited to 155mph.

Humans long surpassed nature when we created prosthetics for the handicap. Baba, no animal on earth is faster than modern car engines.
