I have been on NL for quite some years now, and have seen how People Condemn snakes. But this animal can also be used as pets just like your Dogs, Cats and lots more.

THE BALL PYTHON
The ball python (Python regius), also known as the royal python, is a python species found in sub-Saharan Africa. Like all other pythons, it is a non-venomous constrictor. This is the smallest of the African pythons and is popular in the pet trade, largely due to its small size and typically docile temperament.
The name "ball python" refers to the animal's tendency to curl into a ball when stressed or frightened. The name royal python, comes from the fact that rulers in Africa would wear the python as jewelry.

Oldest Living On Record: Living more than 47years.

Growth:Adults generally do not Grow more than 5ft to 6ft.

Location:They are found in west Africa from Senegal, Mali, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Benin, and Nigeria through Cameroon, Chad and the Central African Republic,Uganda And Sudan.

This snake is given high regards and respect in some Southeastern parts of Nigeria, where they are allowed to move freely in the community and if they wander into homes, gently picked and released into the forest.

As a Snake Lover, who wants one as a pet, it is recommended for starters to get a Ball Python.
