cheesy

All they wanted was getting GEJ out of power, and not looking at long term, the sad part was seeing educated individuals support him...

See the mess they put us now, Shame to them all!
From my interaction I believe to the average Hausa man good governance = a northerner in power

Remember, going to school and obtaining a degree doesn't make one really literate.

I'm sure you know who an 'educated illiterate' is?
But this illiterate lacks basic knowledge.

So what do we say about him?

With this mentality, the suffering continues for You and Me
As long as the mentality brings in a long term solution, no problem. The generation that lived between 1983-195 will tell you that Buhari's short-lived tenure was one of the reasons why Nigerians elected him back; they forgot very quickly.

I will prefer a mentality that goes down to the root of Nigeria's problem, that is mediocrity in the name of tribalism and religious affinity, than one which will bring a short-term solution.

I'm saying he has failed, but Jonathan isn't any better.

What I find almost annoying is you guys praising a failure and cursing another failure.

No sir, they forgot that after the election a government would have to be ran, people had to feed, travel and do business they thought the whole country will be trekking from one place to the other like lagos to abuja in celebration on their victory for 4 years!!! Even tinubu forgot to plan for a government after the elections, all he was interested in was winning thats all.
This people never planned for governance because they never thought they will win. Confusion set in after the victory, and Nigeria is the worse for it. Buhari is not just it!
Re: "Buhari Is The Commander Of Executive Corruption" - Farooq Kperogi by mmsen: 7:04pm On Jan 26, 2017
All these useless former pro-Buhari people are responsible for the mess that Nigeria is in now.
Re: "Buhari Is The Commander Of Executive Corruption" - Farooq Kperogi by EbrohBazza: 7:08pm On Jan 26, 2017
hmmmmmmmmmmm still he is the president of nigeria and none has done a cleansing as he does, some past government even clean stealing as not corruption, that leaves some high ranking and elected people in the public office that barraket the anti corruption war, if really you guys love corruption to free from nigeria lets all of us advocate for any person that is under any corrupt cases should resign and face it trial, but not somebody that is already ducked and still open his thirty teeth stoping some people to be confirm. excuse me cool

Farooq Kperogi, an associate professor in the States who used to be an ardent supporter of Buhari has called out president Buhari on the shielding of his corrupt friends. He also attacked Buhari,Buratai,Magu and others with a hilarious cartoon.Below is what he wrote and see how Nigerians reacted above....

He is a better option than the last President.
Thank you.
You are so fixated on the last president. If I may ask, did Nigeria start existing with the last president? I made it clear that this is about Buhari and his anti-corruption hypocrisy, yet you can't help but bring jona into it.

OK, he's a better "option" than the last president, but he's still very corrupt, bigoted and tribalistic. He is in no way the messiah and saint he pretends to be. Agreed? grin

Bro, how you dey? Hope u are having a great day.

I am extremely happy that Farooq Kperogi has been firm on his criticism of Buhari and Buhari's government; however, this should not be a revisionist approach to revisionalise Farooq's complicity in installing Buhari.

And no, the Professor can not argue on the basis of ignorance for his ignoble role via his Facebook Page and his column in the Daily Trust. He is a lettered man; he is aware that articles and journals regarding Buhari's previous foray as Nigeria's President was quite unambigous of the President cluelessness and incompetence in ruling Nigeria; he is aware of the recession during the last Buhari period; he is aware that Buhari has a corrupt reputation of shielding corrupt folks who are loyal to him; unlike many ignorant Nigerians, he is aware of the corruption which Buhari hid while at the helm of PTF, and the defence of the likes of Abacha, and Buhari's cronies at CPC and The Buhari Organisation, TBO. He is aware that Buhari does NOT listen to anyone, and this inexplicable arrogance is Buhari's mis-"leadership" style.

My dear Professor Kperogi, you were aware of these things and you choose to support Buhari. You choose to support someone whom, if you had a CV like his, you would have not made your way to the United States, let alone researching and lecturing at one of its most reputable institutions. You reside and lecture in an area where you have seen the value of merit over mediocrity; yet, for your own Nigeria, you clearly opted for mediocrity- the worst and violent of its kind- over meritocracy.

As a researcher, you are versed in the art of critical reasoning. Of course, you knew that APC were driven by hate of GEJ and nothing more. And you joined the train.

Well, the hunger at home in Nigeria must have reached you, reached your pockets; after all, you once expressed your dismay over the Nigerian situation when you recently visited Nigeria.

Hopefully, Buhari stays as President till 2023; hopefully, by then, those who were fuelled by primordial-driven hate would have received healing by that time. Before then, please do not relent in your criticism.
You write well
