I happen to like Ruth & Esther...both had a level of humility which led to their fulfulling their purposes, that I hope to have one day.
I wouldn't want to ever be a man...but I do admire David & Peter. They seemed to just be "real" men with "real" problems/character flaws & who made serious mistakes with grave consequences..yet they sincerely loved their Lord. Sorry..I know u only asked for one....I just got over excited.
