This our young footballers should take it easy and never be desperate about transfers, instead they should be more hardworking on the pitch of play and when the right time comes, they shall surely move to a better team. |

TheGoodJoe:Not if the likes of Liverpool and Hoffeinheim are interested on him. He should just keep working hard....a much better offer than Celtics would come soon. O pari |

Icon79:There is a difference in interest and an offer on the table. Celtic has a good offer on the table of Eupen. With the window drawing to a close, it is either Onyekuru signs the Russian deal, in turn terminating his agent. Or stay at Eupen. He wants to keep his agent and move to Scotland. |

kolaish: Onyekuru worked hard on the pitch and a good offer has come. I think Eupen should allow him join Celtic. |

TheGoodJoe:Good point; however, I don't have too much confidence in Brendan Rogers after he tried to destroy the careers of 2 Nigerian players (Victor Moses and Efe Ambrose). Sometimes patience is a virtue. |

Icon79: I think we can not blame Brendan for not sorting out Victor Moses injury problem. He was also on loan to Liverpool, so Brendan did not treat Victor as a Liverpool future player. Efe burnt out and lost his speed. You can not blame Brendan who relies on pace in his strategies. As for Onyekuru, his patience will mean him landing in Russia while he had an offer from Celtic. Eupen should do the right thing and let the young man go. |

TheGoodJoe:Victor Moses injury problem? Are you kidding me?? VicMo didn't have any injury problems at Liverpool. Brendan Rodgers just didn't give him enough chance to stake his claim. He kept playing Raheem Sterling and he'd always play Moses at an awkward position whenever he decides to play him. As regards to Efe, he has his shortcomings especially defensively but he's still good enough to start for Celtics. O pari |

Icon79: You are right. Totally missed that. I always thought injuries affected Moses time at Liverpool. Rodgers missed a bargain there and it is shocking to imagine if he secured Moses for Liverpool. Klopp would have made a machine out of him. |

TheGoodJoe:With many of these coaches, if you're an African, then you'd be twice as good as the other guy to play. Once an African player has two bad games, he's going on the bench straight up! At the start of that season, the entire Liverpool team was having a bad season (a hangover from Luis Suarez's departure) but Rodgers decided to use Moses to make a statement. Take for instance, this season, both Ighalo and Deeney are having a bad season at Watford but Deeney usually starts, it's only Ighalo who has completely lost his starting slot. Trust me, I would always advice our boys to check the history of any coach they plan to play for before making any commitments. After all, no matter how much he tries during the off season, Victor Moses would've gone back on loan if Jose Mourinho was still coaching Chelsea. Imagine that....Tells you all you need to know! |
