This thread is meant to highlight few mistakes most Christians make or do. They are as follows:
1. THE FIRE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: Many Christians has been using the Holy Ghost' fire to bind, cast, destroy things, demons, evil. Well, the only purpose of the Fire of the Holy Spirit is for "Anointing," the Bible only states that it is for anointing, there is no place in the Bible where the Holy Ghost' fire is used to bind, cast or destroy like some of the churches do. Rather, you bind or cast such things in the Name or Power of Christ not with the Holy Ghost' fire. Please, if you are among such, desist from such practices.
2. THE BLOOD OF CHRIST: Many Christians has formed the habit of using the Blood of Christ to cover themselves, their toilets, their food, even their vehicles. Imagine if you cover your food with blood, what will you then eat? Blood? Or if you cover your car with blood, where can you view to drive? The Bible only tells us that the Blood of Christ (Blood of Jesus Christ) is meant for "Cleansing of Sin," The Blood cleanse our sins and that's why Christ shed His Blood for us just to cleanse the sins of the world. There is no place where the Holy Bible tells us that the Blood of Christ is used for covering of things. These are practices of the Heathens. Rather you cover yourself under the shekinah, power or Name of the Most High, or Christ the Son of The Most High.
3. PRAYING IN A HARSH MODE: These harsh mode while praying is the order of the day in some churches. God is a God of Silence, if you have to pray, Pray in silence. Christ did so in Gethsemane, Moshe/Moses went up Mount Sinai for days silence where he met God. Many references in the Bible where saints prayed in silence. Praying making noise that you want to take the kingdom by force, mind you God's ear is not short to hear you. When you talk to your earthly father, do you talk to him in a harsh mode? Do the same to your Heavenly Father. Those who teaches you to destroy the devil and his angels, are false persons. Who are you to destroy the devil and his angels, you have no such power to do so. If the heavenly angels had the power, they won't hesitate to do so. The power to destroy lies in the hands of the Most High, and not you "Mortal Man." Rather you bind or cast the devil and his angels, quote where you needed them to stay till the day of Judgment.

Holy Ghost fire burn things up. God is a spirit and so is holy spirit. The fire is spiritual. The holy spirit as a consuming fire is not there to decorate but burn up matthew 3:11-12

It was not Jesus that said that in the first place. John said Jesus will baptize you with the holy ghost and fire. It is this fire that burn in Deuteronomy 9:3 "Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee."

The fire goes over before thee not for entertainment.

You can command God not only speaking in harsh tone. Human authority is expressed in our voice

Mind you, you don't/never/can't command God, rather you Beseech Him. You only command your Subordinates, how can you command your Creator? Don't dare it. If it were possible, Adam, Abraham, Noah, Moses would have commanded God to keep their lives after having God's Wrath.

Let me help u out. That is God appearing as a Devouring or Consuming Fire to those He has poured His Wrath. It didn't mention the Holy Ghost' fire as a devouring or consuming fire. Like people use it today saying " we destroy u with Holy Ghost' Fire," I'm trying to let people know that the Fire of the Holy Spirit is for "Anointing," nothing more, nothing less!

Anyone can shout the holy ghost fire to win any battle of life if he believe in it. Am showing you the biblical back up. That you don't like it doesn't mean you should stand against it. Christian teaching should be on what you have benefited from not what you are yet to benefited from don't mislead people.

Great men know that wrong or right of knowledge is product of understanding not the knowledge itself.

i generally agree with your points about abuse and misuse. But we do not exactly have to throw out the babies with the bath water but rather put to right use. Briefly.

From the above, the idea is that the fire of the Holy Spirit burns up unwanted things(chaff) in the life of a child of God.

Not exactly heathen practice but an application of something found in the Old Testament passover. The blood of the lamb was sprinkled on door posts to keep away destruction. In the same vein, some Christians believe that Jesus is their passover and that the blood of this Lamb is of more powerful effect. Basically, it is unto you according to your faith.

Every human is created differently. While shouting at God should be discouraged, fervency is encouraged in prayers. Not everyone has the same temperament as you do so it is not compulsory to force others into your mould. The important things in prayers are faith, the will/Word of God, not modes or forms or length.
