MORNDEW:Same question I asked... who's taking charge? What are their demands?? All I read was a call to anarchy. And I've lost respect for tuface especially, obviously with his career now in its twilight, instead on focusing on creating a new label n become a boss. He wants to foray into politics (maybe house of reps) |
| Re: Planned Nationwide Protest, Who Are The Conveners? by harrygold: 1:15pm On Jan 30, 2017 |
the op question wasn't a display of cowardice.the protest is for a better Nigeria but the truth is will it effect a change in the economy.?yes,we can't sit still and do nothing but there is nothing much we can do than to face our respective occupation squarely and utilize limited opportunities that comes our way.insha Allah, one day a breakthrough will come.lets stop taking decisions that doesn't provide fruitful results. |

[quote author=MORNDEW post=53201271]PLANNED NATIONWIDE PROTEST, WHO ARE THE CONVENERS? I tried to read through the reasons for the protest and I got confused the more. But in life we must question whatever we do as a people. I read from the article of the said protest that why has kerosene gone from #50 to #400. And one would ask, when was kerosene #50 per litre in Nigeria?or is this another case of some group of people deceived by politicians to further heat up the already flaming polity and further frustrate Nigerians.those who are only thinking of their pocket and need to fulfil their pledge to their sponsors. Nigerians mind what you Protest against or for. Shut Up joor...Most successful revolutions the world over were as a result of sudden impulse.Pls stop all this ur plenty grammer |

MORNDEW:This protest is a waste of time. FG can do only so much. What about your State Governments. All state governments have a budget what do they do with it, are they funding police army navy or air force, are they the ones building railways? Why can't they release funds for development. No their mandate is to use the fund and develop your states Development starts with the communities so what has you governor done do far? Everyone attending this protest is a big hypocrite. If you can not question your governors for squandering you funds provided by FG, then all of you protesting have failed this country |

People complaining are those that voted the current government. Were they blind to the facts? I'd leave their action to answer that. Some of us knew the backgrounds of the current leaders yet we voted for them. what exactly were you expecting? |

I am suspecting this Princewill of a man, it seems he was sent by the FG to find out the conveners so that DSS would visit them by 2 a.m and whisk them away. It seems to me, that some Nigerians are like slaves that loves their chains. How can people continue to live in hardship and the government is using its secret police to shut the mouths of those opposing them? And they want people to keep quiet. No! Enough is enough. |

MORNDEW:When an action taken is what you have been/were thinking. What question (s) do you want asked?I think the right question(s) and overall question(s) should be;Is the protest gonna change anything. Is it gonna pass a message TONTHE government. Is it safe for the protesters? And by the way..If things were really OK with Nigerians.Nobody will wanna risk lives protesting because of trigger-happy uniformed men. |

MORNDEW:protest can only be sponsored to have successful end. Tuface mingles with Ayiri & others displaced militants. I know he will have secret sponsor & motive. Though there's hardship in the country, no doubt. Politicians can also be planning a counter protest. BOVI & AY still dishing in the present govt. They are taking shows from APC now, doing MC in their party. I perceived a counter protest. State of the nation... |
| Re: Planned Nationwide Protest, Who Are The Conveners? by okpe367: 1:44pm On Jan 30, 2017 |
That's the problem with we Nigerians and that's why we can not organize a succesful protest in our universities, polytechnics and colleges, let alone in Nigeria. Many people will say it's politically motivated, reliously motivated, culturally motivated and because of these, we can mount a result orriented protest. why don't we put aside all our differences and make our leaders know that we are fed up with the situation of things in Nigeria. I for one support the protest. |
| Re: Planned Nationwide Protest, Who Are The Conveners? by Princedapace(m): 1:47pm On Jan 30, 2017 |
MORNDEW:Baba.. The organizers are the Nigerians who av decided to come out.. We don't want a protest led by those who can be bought today or tomorrow.. Some Nigerians are tired.. So if u are part of the tired Nigerians.. Come out but if u so much love ur ruling party, no problem.. Stay at home but don't try to discourage others who are tired.. What they are tired of were well listed there.. Forget about the organizers, Nigeria is not a safe country. .people must hide their faces.. |
