A fairly new blog catered to the Nigerian audience needs the services of a very good writer to write and publish articles on the blog. The articles would be on various topics related to Nigeria and Nigerians and would cut across different categories such as technology, business, education, fashion, politics, and so on.

The writer is expected to produce a total of 1,500 words every week day (Monday to Friday). This total word count can be rendered in a single 1,500-word article, two 750-word articles, three 500-word articles, or otherwise depending on the topics and guidelines made available. And the writer is expected to post the article on the blog and publish it (after having added a relevant feature image and optimizing the post according to the guidelines that would be provided).

OUTLINE OF DAILY TASKS
Research deeply on the provided topic(s).
Write a detailed article that offers value to the reader.
Search the web for a relevant image.
Copy the article into the WordPress post editor.
Optimize the article for SEO (using the guidelines provided).
Add necessary formatting (H2, bold, etc.).
Link to relevant articles on the blog and authority sites (this will be explained better to the chosen candidate).
Add the image within the article and as a featured image.
Publish the article(s).

REQUIREMENTS
Solid writing skills and good grasp of English grammar.
Ability to research, and write on a wide range of topics.
Ability to meet deadlines (no excuse would be accepted for missed days).
Experience with publishing on WordPress (not a must, but a huge advantage).


Monthly remuneration: N25,000 (to increase gradually as site revenue picks up).
