If someone left my property intact in his home with the rentals in tact but comes to my own home to destroy my property in my home and another person seizes my property in his home but doesn't touch my property in my home. Personally I will be more afraid of the sinister objectives of the guy that destroys every thing I have in my home but leaves my property intact in his home.

Frankly speaking only yorubas claim that they are accommodating, a lot of people will not be in lagos if not for the obscured federalism that is practiced in nigeria where all the oil companies headquarters will be relocated to a place that has no oil by decree and other states that have mobile citizenry are denied international Airports.

Please educate us, how are we destroying your property at your home. How many Yorubas are in the SE to start with, what is the ratio of Yorubas in the SE compared to the igbos in the SW? A reasonable estimate will be for every Yoruba that losses his way to the SE, there are 10,000 EQUIVALENT igbos that found their way to the SW. what is the ratio of mass transit buses such as izuchukwu, young shall grow, ekenedilichukwu, peace mass transit to mention a few, dropping off igbos day in day out in the SW compared to very few Yorubas that wander to the SE? So who is really doing the destroying of the other persons land/property? The answer to these question will put things in better perspective for you.

Secondly, i have been to Onne port in PH and lived on Intels Camp. For a fact, the ports in Rivers are closer to the SE than the SW, why are igbo importers not using these ports? Also, on Oil companies, astute business men always put their money and capital where they feel safe and they know their investment is safe. Do you know how much funds we budget to ensure safety in the Lagos-Ogun axis every year. Do you see Yorubas turn to militants and kidnappers of foreigners? No. The answer is a capital NO. because we understand the importance of having a friendly investment environment that people from all race and tribe will feel safe investing their capital without fear. Most of these oil firms relocated back to Lagos in the last decade due to the rampant kidnapping and killing of expatriates in the SS and SE. Why the Bleep do you think dangote is investing billions in a refinery in Lagos? its is called investment friendly environment. No militants, no OPC, no disturbances, no kidnappers etc.

Even your rich tribesmen feel safer in the SW than the SE. this is a fact and its undisputed grin

The Onne port is not designed so well like the federal government did that of Lagos to receive all ships. Not all ships can dock at Onne ,the federal government over the years because of unreasonable and wicked and selfish political reasons made it so.If not why would a sane person import via Lagos other than his backyard.

That is why the outcry for self determination is loader than ever in recent times and those benefiting from this cheating political arrangements are happy and mentioning all manner of vises as reasons for the imbalance .it remains clear that nothing lasts forever.

As far back as 2014: http://thenationonlineng.net/lagos-onne-ports-host-big-vessels/

As you can see, the port can receive big vessel, trying googling more on Nigeria ports.

The question is, why are people not using it as much as the Lagos port?

What a hard experience my but thank God u finally stood after going through all these.

But i will still point this out that yoruba people are too segregating... yes they discriminate a lot.
And thats vry bad.

I hav had some experiences where a yoruba man will prefar to tell a blatant lie just to take sides with his fellow yoruba man.. its a pity.

There was a time i went for job interview they people inteviewing us coulndt hide their bias callin all yorubas in a seperate room to advice them or somethin.... later iheard that most of d yorubas got d job. Even one dat didnt study anythin related to what we came for.

Yet some fools will tell me we are ONE NIGERIA
one nigeria my foot.

Its either biafra or niger delta republic.
ONLY PATIENCE AND TIME WILL TELL.
“One Nigeria” will kill them one day.

Incessant discrimination against Ndigbo in Lagos n the North shows Nigerians are not “One Nigeria.” BIAFRA's sovereignty is the solace of Ndigbo!

So every thread on this forum has to end in a tribal slur, I fear for the future of this country o. The truth is that their are criminals and hoodlums everywhere, hailing from every tribe. This is supposed to be a story of someone relieving his personal story so that others would learn and be encouraged, and instead of young people learning, most of us are busy throwing tribal tantrums, okay o

@beautifulmind2 please I will like to find out from you if the money to open the 3 new business came from the proceeds of the first business or as a result of the low rental cost of renting offices in the east which is a far outcry of what is obtainable in parts of lagos where a 2 bedroom flat can go for 850k midget bedrooms for that matter.

What contributed to my quick recovery

1.Good location
2. favorable government policies on small businesses
3. I own the shops I only pay for land use charges
4. cost of living is relatively low when compare to Lag
5. I pay no house rent to anybody

Haba! Why the insults, now? I thought the whole essence of your post is for your kinsmen to think home?

If you weren't blinded by ethnic hatred, you would have discern that am in agreement with your initial post, that's "ibos think home".

I really appreciate all for your contributions, actually this is the first time I open up to discuss or write on my business experience outside my immediate family, Lag was fun, I'm not trying portray any tribe to be wicked but this is my true life story, I grew up in Anambra, Enugu and PH, before I went for my national youth service there was noting like tribalism in my mind, my perception started charging from NAPIMS where I served down to street of Lag, although It didn't charge who I'm and the training I was imbibe with from my family, within those trying period two Yorubas worked for me a boy and a girl, sales girl and assistance, the boy especially was very jovial and nice, that was when I was in Obalende, he normally come to my house on Sundays and he's a Muslim, during their festival he will bring meat or fruit to me I also reciprocate during my, he was with me till the final day I left Obalende and assisted me to move my things to my new shop in Ajah, till today we still keep in touch, same with my friend Shehu, Shola who now work with Slot at Saka tinubu, VI, I was with Shehu last two weeks that I traveled to Lag we were together till after 11pm gisting, I promised him when I stabilize I will invite him, my experience I had didn't change the fact I meet, interact even dine with good Yorubas, I dated a Yoruba girl when I was serving, but seriously what I realized in Lagos there are tribal sentiments going on, the hate among major tribes is real in Lagos, I just pray God will heal us, I guess that's where our major healing will start as a nation, we really need to purge ourselves from Hate, Jealousy, marginalization etc, from my experience what ever God Almighty what you to be no amount of hate, marginalization from others can stop that, it can be delay but can never be denial, My journey to success just started, I'm very optimistic I'll get to peak of success ladder, my advise to tribal bigots reading my post the amount you wast thinking evil, hating, and wishing or planning evil against others please channel that to something more positive, use the time to make the world a better place, no matter the tribe, region, state you came from, we all will leave this earth one day and all be equal in eyes of God, we are in the world to love, live, leave good legacy behind.
To those struggling to succeed the road to genuine success is tough, it requires to identify who you are and what you want to be, never think what worked for me most work for you, destiny dissimilar, most important prayer over your dreams and assimilation, be determine, never give up hope even when things are not going the way you planned, be prudent with the little resources with you, don't wait till you make millions before you think on what to do, heaven help those that help themselves, you can start with little resources, with good management your business will be growing, when you start climbing success ladder don't allow your little success to get to your head, humble is the Key to word. Almighty God will grant our heart desires the good ones.
Thanks all wish all blissful day!

Sorry for any error

You have a point but the major reason is however the hostility of riverine peoples of Niger Delta. One of my companies does small scale marine transport and you spend so much appeasing communities that the profit margin is extremely low. Lagos marine transporters charge less and earn more.

there is a difference between marine transport and the topic at hand which is a standard international seaport which is supposed to be in warri, akwa ibom and rivers state.
