Some people here on Nairaland will not see anything good in this news becos of their hatred for PMB.
spare us with this huge reserve we are inside recession. What use is the huge reserve if the government fail to build road, school, power and raise the living standard of the people that government has failed woefully. To make matter worst this reserve will end up in the hands of the politician. And raising reserves has always been with us, we need development and nothing else.

Lol, watch how the zombies will come and start masturbating on this thread, where is that sarrki of a boy... This wasn't "good news" in the last administration, it was normal, we were still enjoying, but this zombies kept saying that we were suffering, but look at this once "normal event", now "good news", and apparently "pmb is working"..

As for me, this is good, but it's nothing, after 2years? By now we should have been enjoying at least 22hrs of electricity, but do we still have electricity in Nigeria? I doubt..

This is nothing special, polithiefcians and morons in the presidency are obligated to do these things, and therefore it's no "good news" or "thank the president", because that is his work, and as far as we know, they are not working in this country, come 2019 we will send the walking dead and his zombies out!

My dear friend. You need to stop posting childish stuff. The reserves are growing in spite of one third of the oil prices of the previous administration. The Naira exchange rate is high yet the reserves are growing. Something is happening that requires thinking and studying instead of posting. On power , the figure is $30 billion, that was what OBJ, Yaradua and GEJ spent on power to generate 7000MW that we still can't distribute properly. Someone I spoke is so sure that the problem is more than mediocrity of the Jonathan regime, there must have been full scale looting involved. Anyway, they later sold the power assets to their friends, monies were pocketed and still no power.
PDP supporters have to shut up. They have to endure. We endured 16 years of PDP looting, killing and degeneracy we will endure at least 8 years of Buhari. There is a demonstration happening on Feb. 5 everyone of you should join in but we shall ask you guys fundamental questions and by God you have to answer.

Of what use when the dollar is N500 at Sabo, and you have 5 or more exchange rates, with people in need of Forex stranded or worse.

They want to use it for campaign in 2019 that the reserve grew even during low oil earnings.

It's all politics.

They would prefer Nigeria is auctioned off or borrow more than is in our reserve than tamper with the accretion. Nonetheless, it's a decent move. Even if they're not doing anything like in OBJ second tenure, let them keep the money in the reserve for someone with the vision to use it after they're gone.

We can't be complaining that the economy is in a comatose situation and money is still bleeding from the reserve.

About the exchange rate, things are firm now. I've said it longer than I can remember that the true value of the dollar is N490-N500. What remains is the harmonization of the exchange rates. But before that can be done, we need to finetune our fiscal policy, which unfortunately is not forthcoming.

Remember the CBN did not devalue the currrency from 250 to 305 until the 2016 budget was signed into law. The CBN is waiting for Madam Queens to come up with the fiscal blueprint Osibanjo hinted is coming next month.

As always, we are all waiting for Baba Go Slow's government.

So at this point you're still blaming gej? 2years after he left? Yes we all know gej failed, but why did we elect that buffoon? To tell us gej failed or to work? You zombies amaze me really

This government has done nothing! We won't praise them till life becomes easier for Nigerians, like it were 3years ago and a lot better, you can keep fooling around, not like I give a f-uck
