Let me give you a sneak peek into what the real examination is. Like I said, last year first section were mostly English. The second section is like this. This is for instrumentation and control.

GIS would be combined with environmental engineering or Geology. Sorry, it is that bad! You guys are at disadvantage. But physics, chemistry are always part of the example. You may wanna check for introductory materials to these courses online. Google Pdf copy

Control in this sense would mainly be Process Control, so if you're an Electrical Engineer try to look for a good text on Process Control and Instrumentation to read. Also practise calculations and instrumentation diagrams.

Control in this sense will be mostly Process Control and a little of Control Theory. If you're an Electrical Engineer try to look for a good book on Process Control and Instrumentation(as it relates to oil and gas) to study. Take note of Instrumentation and Piping diagrams, and practice calculations too.
