Sarrki i am really disappointed in you ....Cant you see like I have always said the the problem is actually Buhari ..Imagine it was even under him that Nigeria debt hit double figures for the first time , in 1984 he caused a 500 percent inflation ànd today he has caused a 500 percent inflation again within 18 months ...Buhari is a wrecking ball in a china shop and the APC needs to replace him with a critical visionary in its ranks ASAP

Apart from the way the OP has spun the story, there is nothing revelatory about saying that Nigeria faced economic hardship during Buhari's first tenure worsened partly by his policies. This is basic history.

Of course, it is false to say that Buhari increased foreign debt from $2bn to $23bn - the increase happened over a decade - or that inflation hit 500%. But the basic narrative of a hapless incompetent government was as true then as it is now.

They were stealing Nigerias money left and right. They were selling import licenses, they piled short term debt and long term debts that required until OBJ's debt forgiveness negotiated by Okonjo Iwealla to solve.
When you see young Nigerians posting stuff from "fake" CIA sources you realize the ideological cluelessNess of youths in Nigeria. In the past they used to protest CIA acrtivities and coup sponsorships and assassination of foreign leaders but this current generation will "quote" them

When you heard national security, your mind must have pictured some gatemen standing at building gates all over the nation.

You should do some findings on what constitute national security first.

I don't celebrate IBB but the truth is he was a far more effective leader than IBB.. In 1984 Buhari met Nigeria with a debt profile of 2 billion naira and when he left just twenty months later it had reason to 23 billion dollars..Nothing good can ever come from Buhari ..today the naira is trading at 510 naira to a dollar
