Here's a photo of Innoson utility vehicle on patrol in the Northeastern part of the country. This is one of the vehicles presented by the Chairman of Innoson Motors, Dr Innocent Chukwuma, to the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai at Maimalari Barracks, Maiduguri, Bornu State last year November.

The vehicles were acquired due to its rugged nature and suitability for rough terrains.

Nice one. Manufacturing should be encouraged and govt should invest t boost the country's manufacturing capability.

On IED, those cars were not built to counter IED. They are for RECCE, patrol and part of the military convoy.

I hope those vehicles have been fully paid up for. Cos we know how government agencies behave, they are institution killers.
Something they would never try with China, they would do it with our companies.
If you still don't understand my rants, ask PHCN how much the military and other government agencies are owing them.

This is good. I believe we should one day be able to cater for our military hardware from within. In a country with so many security challenges like Nigeria, the armoured vehicles business will thrive for people in that line.

From what I know, I dont think the FG is owing Innosson money. IVM recently returned some cash to the FG after it was unable to deliver all the vehicles requested.
