What! Because of 90k, such a senseless mother! I can't imagine the pains and agony of the poor man accused and tortured to death by his own very mother and people he hold dear. To the mother, I hope that money replaced his son now that he is no more. May your soul rest in peace man.

I was born and bred in Nigeria. I have never heard of a Nigerian woman beating her own son to death. Infact while I was growing up, I never heard of a Nigerian woman beating her own son to the point of hospitalization or stuff like that. Women, no matter how angry they are, always know the limit of each child the bore. Always. Don't forget, these are people who, when they give birth, they can pick out their babies voice in the midst of 100 crying babies.

Now this. Just bc of 90k. Just about $200-$300. Which is not even enough to take me Manhattan on a Saturday night for a dinner in a decent restaurant, somebody killed her own son.

Actually you are pissed, same here too. But I quite disagree with you on "BUHARI'S GOVERNMENT OF POVERTY HAS TURNED NIGERIANS INTO MENTALLY DERANGED DEMONS" . Lots of such dehumanizing cases happens all over, even in advanced nations,call it signs of end time..... I've heard of several atrocities of human wickedness even during better days in Nigeria, 80's,90's..... Don't paint a picture that isn't..... I am as much hating this current economic mess Nigeria find itself but let's face issues as it is ....

Of course it doesn't make sense to blame the government for this personal evil in a family. But you know, sometimes when one is pissed, one begins to lay blame left, right and center. And who best to blame in these times than the President .
But on a more serious note, i never heard of a nigerian woman physically assaulting her own child to the point of serious injury. Never heard of such. I've been away from Nigeria for a long time but I still know our people. . . . . or so I thought. This is pathetic. But I strongly believe poverty has a role to play here. Poverty made her value the 90k so much that she beat her own son to pieces. But poverty is NO excuse.
