This is a remote community in Birnin Amina in Rijau Local Government Area in Niger state, where villagers including the old and young (mostly women) go unclad due to thier inability to get clothes. An NGO -Sapphire Foundation has adopted the community -giving clothes and necessary materials to the villagers who were excited to receive them.

Preparation to build a school in the village is also underway.

Clothing is culturally relative. We see them as naked because we wear clothes. It's probably their culture not to cover the upper parts of their body.

Good one. it is sad to learn some people still live in garden of eden in this modern age. Considering this people have a honourable representing them in abuja, he will claim he is doing constituency project but it took a visionary NGO to cater for basic needs of these people. The joy on the faces says it all.

In addition, they rather this people remain blind so they can be manipulated into giving them 1,000,000 votes during election. votes they domt know what they are thumbprinting on.
Ph my cpuntry.
