For me, I think a player should be given the benefit of the doubt first. Iirc, Ox has never had a bad game in the midfield, right? That's more reason he should be tried there.

This is no different from Di Maria who looked like an headless chicken on the wing and Ancelotti found a position for him in the middle regardless of how Alonso and Modric tends to make him a lot better than he is but he complemented them with his runs and ability to carry the ball over a long distance. In Ox case, he's even showed fantastic performance in the midfield without the help of passing masters such as Modric and Alonso. He could be your Dembele who was previously a striker you know.
