Joe Igbokwu, Publicity Secretary, APC, Lagos live on stv programme Head to Head accuses tuface of benefitting from corruption for receiving wedding gifts of 2 cars from former governor of Akwa State, now a senator of the republic of Nigeria and receiving 20m for performing on the stage for 2 hours for the former president Goodluck Jonathan.
This he said while responding to the question how he felt about about the protest tuface was pioneering.
A protest the acting President did not condemn but the police has taken over the venues of the prospective protesters.
While I understand Igbokwe should defend his party, it is not a wise talk to accuse an entertainer who plies his business in entertainment of being corrupt for getting benefits of his reward for his talents. Should igbokwe descend so low in throwing accusations for a true Nigerian who sees a pain in his nation and decides to show concern? He tuface underscoring the evil intents of some Nigerians maybe a political party to hijack the process to cause harm to the nation cancelled the said protest, what wrong did he do in that?
Accusing tuface of benefitting from corruption igbokwe implies tuface is corrupt. The questions I now ask are
IS IT NOW WRONG TO SPEAK FOR THE VOICES THAT CAN'T BE HEARD? ARE WE NOW CORRUPT FOR RECEIVING THE REWARDS OF OUR GOD GIVEN TALENTS?
This not an attack on tuface alone but entertainment generally and Igbokwe should apologize not just to tuface but all Nigerian entertainers who do their works diligently and fighting for the good of the common man.

It's funny that good Nigerians are corrupt for speaking out. Should we all now keep quite and watch our politicians destroy this country for us? I wonder o!
