Super Eagles vs Senegal friendly gets March 23 date

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have confirmed that the Super Eagles will take on Senegal in a friendly in London on March 23 as part of preparations for crucial World Cup qualifiers against Cameroon.

Nigeria will welcome newly crowned African kings Cameroon at the end of August in Uyo with the return leg four days later in continuation of the 2018 World Cup qualifying tournament.

The Super Eagles top the qualifying group with six points from two matches, while Cameroon are second on two points.

Zambia and Algeria are on a point each with the overall group winners advancing to the World Cup in Russia next year.

Incidentally, the Teranga Lions of Senegal were knocked out in the quarterfinals of AFCON 2017 by Cameroon.

I feel they should also add Burkinafaso to the list of countries we should play. Burkina and Senegal were the best footballing side at the last AFCON.

Have you asked yourself why the match will be played in London? Have you considered whether it's FIFA open window for friendlies and qualifiers, and you think NFF will spend such huge amount of money to excite the match for a game that will be inconsequential? Don't just jump to conclusions bro
