House, pls can the 3 years work experience be split between two diff NOC's. Thanks

Yes you can use two different NOC especially if they are in the same or closely related fields..... For Instance Mine was in Farm Supervisor and Agricultural Consultant, different NOC same field of study

hello Guru in the house, kindly assist clarify the age difference challenges my closest pal is having. The age on his WES evaluation report is quite different from the age on his international passport. Please which age is relevant to his express entry application. Please your advice will be highly appreciated. thanks

That is really complicated but I don't think it is advisable your friend use two different age to apply as that may lead to misrepresentation and refusal. He or She must look for a way of reconciling both documents to carry the same age. I guess the easiest way to do that is to get another Passport that has the same age with his ECA report. It is important that the age across all documents submitted including IELTS is the same. This is just my opinion

This is for all the gurus in this house.

I have been a silent reader of this thread since last year and I have been following all the conversation. However, I have some few questions.
I have an MEng, MBA, PGD & HND (Elect & Elect) all evaluated by WES. My IELTS results came out yesterday in which myself and my wife performed poorly though. We both scored 6.5 and 6 average (We dint really prepare for it). I am the PA and my wife ECA is not yet ready.

Be that as it may, I still entered the pool and got a CRS score of 325 which is surprisingly low. Now the questions...

1. Could this be as a result of the poor IELTS result?
2. Could this be age related as I am 40 and wifey is 39?
3. Why is this score so low?
4. What other options can we pursue?

I have entered the Job Bank and discovered I could apply for couple of jobs there.
We are planning to write IELTS again but I'm just wondering if that alone will fetch enough marks to get an ITA.

Your advice is needed please.

Thank you!

As long as you don't have below 6.0 in any of the language Skills, I won't advise you to rewrite IELTS because your CRS score may still not be more than 400 after writing another even with a higher CLB. Obviously you have lost over 50 points in Age. So Kindly explore Provincial Nomination Programs. I will advise you to explore Saskatchewan PNP. NOC 2244 maybe suitable for you as an Elect/Elect Engineer and it is an On demand Job. Here is an helpful link below.

A quick one. My spouse FBI PCC is pending. Should I submit with evidence of him applying or 'jejely' wait for the certificate. That's the only document outstanding ooo

If you applied for it after you got your ITA, I will advise that you submit your application and write a letter of explanation with all evidence that you have started the process of getting the FBI Identify Summary Check. it takes between 12 to 14 weeks for the FBI to get ready. That's well over 100 days. Remember you only have 90 days to submit a complete application. That's what I did cos I applied for the FBI Identity Summary Check two weeks after receiving ITA so there was no time on my side again.

pls house, I need your view and candid advice on my case, have read over 50% of this trend, I wish to apply but my concern is my university school result, I had pass as my grade, and am currently working with a microfinance, will this my university grade affect my application or obstruct me during credentials evaluation? Will the grade also reduce my points, i have all finance to process and i also have work experance, am always luck in term of job, pls i need advices. Thanks m expecting ur candid advice

Bros they don't use grade to award points. Trust me you can have a better CRS point than someone with first class if you have a better IELTS results than such person. Bottom line, they don't award points based on your grade in the University but based on your Age, English Proficiency, Married Status, Work Experience and Transferability Skills

Good day house, been a silent reader but hope to participate from now. I just got ITA and will be sharing my timelines below.

ECA- Nov. 2016: this was very fast as I submitted scanned copies of transcript and degree certificates, paid international courier fee to have WES send verification letter to my school via courier. Had someone who assisted with the verification in less than 5 days of the school receiving it. Everything took about one month.
IELTS: Jan 7th, collected result Jan 20. LSWR: 8.5, 7.5, 8,8.
EE pool: Created two profile on 21 Jan. I claimed 3 years experience in one and two years in the other as I have only completed two years in my current place of work, however, I have one year experience from a different company.
CRS scores: 474 and 449 respectively.
ITA: received on both profile on 8 Feb 2017. However, I accepted the profile with 449 as it may be difficult getting reference from my former employer.

I've been gathering all documents, and POF is basically the outstanding item. My sister will be transferring the money to me and I will appreciate if anyone can give me a sample gift deed.

Thanks

Hello guys,

Please I need urgent responses please. Has anyone here applied for EE with common-law as relationship status? Was it successful? Was it stressful? Please I need to make a decision fast.

Thank you!

Taiwotron and everyone answering questions. God bless you.

ITA and PPR choppers, congrat!

Fellow learners and observers, it is well with our soul. We will get there and go beyond.

Please, in crs calculator, can I claim two cert with NCE and Bsc?

To those that claim NYSC experience, how did you go about it?

Someone ask a question about ongoing study, what will happen if someone is rounding up or starting MSC study?

Thank you for your responses

Congrats to everyone who got ITA.

I am a Medical Laboratory Scientist otherwise known as Medical Laboratory Technologists in Canada.
I want to do transcript evaluation but LAUTECH strike is preventing me from doing that. However, I have MSc in Environmental and Public Health from UK.

It is the Bachelors degree from LAUTECH that qualifies me to practice as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. Is it now possible to evaluate only MSc and leave The Bachelors degree since LAUTECH don't want to resume again?

I have done my IELTS but transcript is preventing from applying.

Pls, I need your advice

[quote author=dupyshoo post=53562305]When I did mine, my younger brother was still in OAU then, so he went to Exams and Records to get it done for me and it cost me about N8-9k. However, I heard that recently, you have to go through ETX-NG to get the transcripts done. You can Pm Adiahabasi to get more info cos she recently got her transcripts from OAU.

Hi Dupsyshoo. Please how long did it take to complete the evaluation process after you sent your documents. Kindly assist with response. Cheers

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by dupyshoo: 10:04am On Feb 10, 2017
On IRCC website, it is clearly stated that the POF should be in the applicant's name. That does not mean that spouse's bank statements were not accepted in some situations. It is however a grey area.

I have read of a situation where divorce happened during the the processing of the application and the PA decided to remove the accompanying spouse from the application. What do you think will happen in such situation if the spouse's bank statement was used as POF?

In addition, for those that are getting gifts (funds) from other sources, it is better to transfer the funds to the accompanying spouse account and then later to the PA's account. This will prevent the need for gift deeds as a simple LOE from the spouse will be adequate as there will be no need to submit the bank statement of the accompanying spouse.

merrymum:
Hello everyone. Big congratulations to all who got their ITA and PPR.

After reading that my ACCOMPANYING SPOUSE has to transfer funds to my account for POF purposes, it didn't make sense. Why should my husband have to transfer the money to my account because I'm the PA when he is listed as my accompanying spouse in my EE application? So I checked the Canadavisa Forum and found this snapshot. On that forum, almost everyone knows you can present your spouse's bank statements as POF. Please my question is: was there anybody that had issues with this that makes everyone on this thread to believe that the funds must be in the PA's account? Let's clarify please. Thanks a lot.
