Was the marriage done with a certificate? Because that will need a court order to anull. Traditional marriages on the other hand do have divorce procedures too that follow tradition. Before this is done, she is still married as far as the state or society is concerned.

U wan put woman for bondage?

Don't you know an oath is taken during marriage that only death do you part. It's bad luck if you come in between. Even traditional marriages. There is a sacrifice or oath taking.

That is what I believe Jesus is referring to. I however do not understand why the law seems to only apply to women.

Her husband has probably been unfaithful to her since he left her, and that is accepted by Jesus as a justification for divorce.
