Hello MA good evening In just stumbled into this room and am really impressed by all I have read you're doing a great job God bless you real good for helping for free in a country where everything is monetized. I have two issues:
1. my hair/scalp is always sweaty I have a very stubborn hair i can't carry my hair for a week without it smelling because of plenty heat am always embarrassed I can't be in the presence of people and I can't afford to change my hair style weekly I swear slot on my scalp/hair I stopped applying hair cream hoping it will reduce yet no success I have applied different things as suggested by people but no success I have even visited a doctor and was still disappointed.... I really do wish you can help me
2. am a bit fair in complexion close to chocolate I don't use body cream or anything I just bath and dress up but people are mocking me saying an a girl and all that trash could you recommend an affordable cream that moisturizes my skin and does not generate heat for me lemme see if I can be a little bit of a girl.

Awww, so sorry about your skin story. I think you need to let your skin breath a little. For your face, you need to exfoliate to remove dead skin off.,, try by scrubbing your face with sugar.

White sugar exfoliate to reveal fresh and smooth skin. Don't use harsh chemicals, use a baby soap and baby lotion your skin will gradually heal itself.

No there is no ready made sugar exfoliating cream, all you need to do is buy granted sugar which is sold locally and everywhere.

It is sold for 10 naira, after purchasing, wash your face with water then apply sugar on the wet face gently. Don't apply pressure when scrubbing as if you're washing a back of pot

Be gentle while at it. Do it 3 times weekly to see results. It helps curing pimples, keeping your face oil free and supple. I've not use soap on my face for 3 months now( I've used a lot of natural ingredients like honey, rice flour, water leaf and milk but the most effective for me now is SUGAR). And by the way, which cream and soap are you currently using?

I would recommend you should use a baby soap (like jonhson milk soap, 800 naira), I would have recommended you use the cream also but it gave me pimples so I don't know if you gonna react. Johnson is mild and free from too much chemicals, It won't darken you but help in maintaining your colour

As for a body Cream, try to see if you can get St.ives body lotion, there are many varieties, see if you could get the one with vitamin E. It's a moisturizer to keep your skin healthy and I've used it though it was the one in blue or something.

Remember, sometimes it doesn't matter if our skin is fair or black, what matters is whether it is healthy. I used to be a product junkie and would used any cream and soap I thought was good little did I know I was doing harm to my skin.

I've not used soap or cream for 3 months now and my skin is healthy, fresh and the most important, keeps me from environmental toxic which was the reason it was created in the first place.

If you wanna know how I keep my skin soap free and soft without any cream, you can always ask. Take care.

Currently due to lack of good sleep (don't worry about that) , I have small small whitish particles on my face, those tinyirritating whitish balls , you get....I have used some products like Johmsons face polish n face wipe to regularly clear then...yyear they get cleared but it leaves the face whitish, dehydrated and unattractive......please do you know anything I can be using to remove the pores with littlenor no effect on the texture or appearance of my face......

I saw it last night but my phone was down, I just charged it not quite long ago.
So I'm gonna show you what I've been using all this while since I'm not using soap and cream on my body. Some natural ingredients I've tried worked well, but you need to have patience, plenty of it cos it took me 3 months to see any improvements.

For the main time, I use vasline on my body and face and it doesn't give me pimples and doesn't darken me.

This is the list of what I have used on my face and all over my body when I bath which is laborious. There were time I got tired but the thought of going back to chemicals gave me lots of patience needed.

quaker oat : the best, it lightened my skin and made it soft and bright. I used it all over my body as soap, it's now expensive and I can no longer purchase it as it cost 800 naira per can and it doesn't last more than 2 weeks.

honey : it darkened me but made my skin soft anyway, it doesn't cure pimples.

rice flour : you get it from rice, all you have to do is to grind it to a smooth texture, then there is your rice flour. It has whitening properties and fades black spots. I used it with milk on my face and body but it bleached me. It made my body fair and kneels dark.

milk : made my skin looked so so soft, nice texture, I mixed it with honey and it faded some spots on my face.

sugar : now this is my best, no trouble getting off, you don't have dirt all over your bathroom. Slides easily with ease, cleanses the skin thoroughly like a soap. . I started using it 3 days ago, I use morning and night as my soap.

What I do is grind it to a smooth texture, then water my body and face then apply and scrub with my hands. It is quite a lot of work but I ain't stopping for anything.

So my over all advice is, listen to your skin and use what works for you. For fading of scars, use honey and milk on your face. For scrubing, use sugar and milk. Use everyday to see improvement or else you are wasting your time.

Below are my before and after pix of my homemade paste. Water leaf and honey, makes your skin soft and bright. And also my vasline. It's only half of my face showing, don't want nairaland pipo to chop me.

your regime should be : in the morning scrub face with sugar leave for 10 minutes then wash off.( I don't use soap, this is basically my soap so it depends if you want to use)

In the night :honey and milk, apply on face leave for 30 minutes then wash off before sleeping and moisture your face with a good moisturizer, not body Cream . Vasline would do. Try to get this particular Vasline, it doesn't give me pimples and use sparingly, that is, little on your face don't pack it, use your tip of finger. Hope it helps. And remember, all you need is patience and lots of patience, use every day

Second: my water leaf and honey paste, I use every morning (sometimes I get lazy)
The third: still got some pimples on my forehead on two months of my natural journey. But now all cleared.
