Breaking down of roof work.....

We intend to use Aluminium step tiles 0.55 gauge...

1. 3X4X12 @ 750 X 35 = N26,250.00

2. 2X4X12 @450 X 250 = N112,500.00

3. 2X3X12 @ 350 X 250 = N 87,500.00

4. 2X2X12 @250 X 250 =N 62,000.00

5. 2X6X12 @ 750 X 25 = N18,750.00

6. 4'' NAIL @ 8,500 X 2 = N17,000.00

7. 3'' NAIL @ 8,500 X 1 = N8,500.00

8. 21/2'' NAIL @ 8,500 X 1 = N8,500.00

9. OJEGBA @ 600 X 4 = N2,400.00

LABOUR FOR WOOD WORK = N 130,000.00

TOTAL.....................................= N473,400.00

For those who are afraid to start, you can see for yourselves how the money is been managed. Put your mind to it. It's not that hard, cut off unnecessary things you don't need to focus your attention on it. It's can be done with time.

pls is it 30 bags of cement you quoted tgat raised the building to lintel level. i just finished my dpc and want to start block work

This is a Construction of a 3 bedrooms bungalow with the following features

1. Ante room with VISITOR toilet

2. Living room

3. Guess room

4. Boys Room

5. Master bedroom

6. Kitchen with store

7. Study room

8. Family area and

9. Dinning .

One loses a lot of money building from diaspora if you cannot be on ground. Very unfortunate.

Corruption & cheating is a DNA thing in 9ja now.

But mine is yet to get to lintel and I already spent over 3m.
It's a learning curve for me, when I want to develop the main building, I must be home and supervise it myself.

My brother...you need to be on ground yourself to monitor how things work....all I asked the engineer is to give me list of materials. I buy them myself and only pay him his workmanship. With these....i was able to save a lot.
