I am unable to sleep. My help told me yesterday that my step mother-in-law (my husband's step mother) tried to breastfeed my 5 month old son. My baby refused to suckle and she kept on trying. My help told me that another woman was in the room during the incident and she warned my step mother not to try that rubbish again. This incident happened in her house. She was upstairs and I was in the parkour. My help took the baby and brought her to me. I am mortified!! I am so angry, I don't know what to do. My husband doesn't know yet, he is asleep. My people how do I go about this? One thing is for sure, I WILL never allow that woman touch my son again. NEVER!!! God forbid.

Madam Zaynie, thank you for responding. Not sure yet I can bring myself to ending the pregnancy yet but am silently praying for a miscarriage of some sort ....
Am so scared of the risks the pregnancy may pose in my health as per risks of uterine rupture and all that and how healthy the baby will be because of the contraceptive I took and the fact that I was not on any multivitamin for over 3months....
I still have serious waist pains from the last pregnancy and labour and I recently found out that my episiotomy site had broken down a little. I was supposed to even go back for restitching but since it was not so painful I just kept postponing it....

@ gurlnext2u, I think u shud tell hubby what happened, he is in a better position to handle d issue. though the woman may not have meant any harm, she may have thought she was trying to pacify ur baby, but since u were a few metres from her, she would have asked dat ur child be brought to u instead. Most of these old women do it and don't see it as a big deal. But it's very wrong as person no know Wetin dey inside or around d breast.

Mama's that are " carrying low " and team June mama's please did anyone notice their baby kicking really low, around 19-22 weeks that if feels as if d kicks are constantly "kicking/scratching" ur rectum and cervix ?

Good morning mamas, how una dey...Mamas I no understand again o, went to d hospital today for antenatal o, doc measured my belle with his tape and said baby is still where she is since last 2 wks, DAT she's not growing, but am adding weight...from 87kg last 2 wks to 91kg...which 1 is now baby is not growing... My gynae now told us to go outside to do scan like in a diff place apart from d hospital just to compare results, and he said my uterus is tight...infact am just confused...waiting to do d scan o...hmmmm

Atleast thank God another woman was there to warn her, if you are still with her you can mention that you heard what she did and you think that's a really harmful practice, if she's an illiterate tell her you were taught in school that it's really dangerous. Try not to make it sound personal cuz she's family and may have had nothing in mind, just be strict enough to make sure it doesn't happen again, and try not to leave her unsupervised with your baby in future, ewww.

It's not everytime these their tape measurements are correct o, even scan, at least many mama's here can testify to inaccurate measurements and scan results sef. Haven't u seen or heard of women with extremely BIG tummies, u would even think they are carrying multiples, but in the end they born one chikini baby less than 2.5 , u will begin to wonder what was inside their belly.
So my sister, look for cold malt drink u hear!

That's how they would say baby has grown like hippopotamus and someone would still go and give birth to one tiny baby, these doctors get creative sometimes, try to look for a reputable scan place, if you can, pay for the more clearer scans. The scans in my own hospital remind me of olden days tales and moonlight.

Please see ur doctor, he will prescribe meds for u to insert in d anus . Drink plenty of water and fruits to soften ur stool so u don't strain while doing d deed.
I have heard witchhazel works wonders wen dabbed on it, but I don't know if u can find it to buy around easily, u can check jumia or konga if they stock it.
