This morning, Chocolate City president, Audu Maikori was arrested in Lagos and moved to Abuja following comments and statements he made about the Southern Kaduna killings. Now a campaign for his freedom is trending across social media. On Nigerian Twitter right now, the hashtag #FreeAudu is the number one trending topic with rapper and chocolate city head, MI Abaga as the pioneer. Nice one Mr incredible, how can a set of people continue to end innocent lives and get a away with but those who speaks against it gets arrested. Maikori's arrest is predicated on a magistrate's warrant. He may have apologised for inciting the public based on wrong information he had but the Law must run its course. A few charges may have been brought forward. Arrest is not conviction. He should exonerate himself. 1 Like |
