Specialspesh: We're sheltered to the point where we don't really know what kind of a world we're living in, and it's sad because the Bible says "the truth shall set you free". Children discover the world's evil on their own and are so shocked by it that they feel that they can't even live anymore. We need to expose our children to the world enough for them to be used to tough times and be able to learn from them in a way that benefits their well being. I suffered from depression for a solid 9 months and I feel that in the future, I'll give my children the heads up about the dark side of life before they end up in the same shock that I was in. 1 Like |

Away With all these Psychopathic statements by men who can only spell "hardship" without knowing the definition of it. We lament in nigeria: . No money o . No food o . Things are expensive o Now this is the condition we call "Recession": . The number "Tear rubber" cars on the roads has increased more than years before . Secondary school boys and non-educated street boys patronize Boutiques for their casual wears rather than less expensive clothing kiosks in the market . Young girls and ladies cruise the most expensive "tear rubber" cars on the road . The cost of a GSM phone paraded by an average nigerian young girl is btw N35K - N45K. . There are more patronage to more expensive "artificial Hair" by young ladies now than ever before . Check out FACEBOOK and INSTAGRAM. Most of your friends "Show oFF" scenarios of "good life" now than when you first "met" them. The question now is: if this is the nature of the Recession we are crying out for, what better situation could we have? |

Nigerians are dumb, so they deserve a dumb president. If you came on this board during good lucks administration, you withdraw have thought he was Hitler. Now foolish Nigerians are lamenting the looks of his leadership. Buhari is the president ignorant Nigerians deserve. We can only hope he destroys the country finish so Biafra can emerge. Sai Baba my nash! |

belovedsamex: You really tried, but this won't suffice for the truth. The youths you lied against are the ones who took to the streets to complain about the cluelessness of Buhari's administration. Just few days ago, the President said he WILL release implement a plan to take us of a recession that started in Q2, 2016. What does that seem to you? |

A southerner (GEJ) destroyed Nigeria, statistics don't lie. It's just unfortunate that we yorubas aided him to take power then.. He should have just completed yaradua's remaining two years and leave. The earlier the SE realize they can't rule this country ever, the better for them. It's always going to rotate between yorubas and North now |

erico2k2:Oil price responsible for the degradation of the Naira is a fallacy and a hoax mixed together. Kenya doesn't export crude oil but its currency is way stable than ours. Destruction of economic fundamental that is supposed to drive our economy has been totally eroded out of ignorance and gross incompetence in the last two to three years. Our economic problem is basic but we/govt of the day haa turn a blind eye to it and instead rely on flip flop economic policies. For a country that has its potentials immersed in the deep waters of globalization, those who have been saddled with responsibility of managing this economy have no clue to reversing our fortunes and would rather engage in blame game rather than get down to do the job. It should baffle any Nigerian how we drove away massive FDI which is largely contributed by foreign investors only to approach the same investors via finacial monetary bodies for loans. The truth is that our policy makers have no clue on how to end the continuous free fall of the nation's currency. |
