Insecurity is everywhere in Nigeria,Rivers state is not different plus ameachi did monorail project @ what cost? The money used for that project could simply be used for good roads, improve health, etc.
Wike is not perfect but at least he is trying to tackle what's important to the common man and monorail is not one of such

I think he deserves it, let me speak as a non partisan person. secondly, i reside in Port Harcourt precisely D-line. a whole lot has happened in terms of project under his leadership. I never gave him a chance when it comes to governance but he has proved me wrong.
Moreso, watching the scenario on channels TV, it portend grave risk for the APC becos it seem alot of them seem not too happy with the center in terms of governance; this was well played out by the encomiums received by Wike on acceptance of the award. He was well greeted by the APC especailly by the south-west and a few of the Northern guys. What this means that a lot of realignment and gambit political struggle is out there. Take it or leave.
