This country is a joke. Wike, Mr Project? That Sun Newspaper must be a clown. Ask any Rivers person what Wike has delivered in two year? Port Harcourt is basically in a terrible state, sanitation has gone to the dogs and this dude governs in a rudderless manner. All I observed is this dude contracted Julius Berger to repair Old and New GRA roads, fixed the street lights on Aba Road, reconstructing Trans Amadi Road ( this I must really commend him for, due to the strategic nature of that road) and he his building a Pleasure Park at Airforce Junction. Objectively assessed, a Governor with an IGR of about 15 billion per month ought not be called 'Mr Project' for delivering these cosmetics projects. The painful aspect is the bad sanitation in the town and the Governor is so unconcerned about it, probably because he has handed over that space to his ineffectual and incompetent PDP Chairman. Please note, I have no political affiliation and this is just my personal opinion.

I think he deserves it, let me speak as a non partisan person. secondly, i reside in Port Harcourt precisely D-line. a whole lot has happened in terms of project under his leadership. I never gave him a chance when it comes to governance but he has proved me wrong.
Moreso, watching the scenario on channels TV, it portend grave risk for the APC becos it seem alot of them seem not too happy with the center in terms of governance; this was well played out by the encomiums received by Wike on acceptance of the award. He was well greeted by the APC especailly by the south-west and a few of the Northern guys. What this means that a lot of realignment and gambit political struggle is out there. Take it or leave.

You observed well. There was so much goodwill towards Wike across the political divide. Most politicians due to the state of uncertainty occasioned by current events have started realigning themselves and expanding their political reach. Irrespective of party affiliation, Wike is a man to have on your side. He is a poltitcal enforcer. Amaechi knows this, Nigerians know this.

Of what use is that Mono rail to rivers people when there are other important pressing issues. He embarked on a right project at the wrong time. An engineer of high ranking status even told me that if they had been serious about the project, it would have been completed in 42 months. So check it out.

You seem to forget that Wike and Goodluck stopped Rivers state funds and allocations and gave Rivers state oil wells at soku to bayelsa state, now Wike is governor he is telling amaechi to bring back the oil wells imagine

Amaechi was a better governor than Wike what he did we still see till today the primary health care centers + Free good primary schools in every LGA + the roads he built + the fly overs + the sports complex + the stadium + the scholarships Wike stopped+ security and many more.
