if you create whatsapp group, it will rob most of us and the future pwc aspirants of information they may require to succeed in this process too.
I agree @agroronnie. Pls guys let share whatever info on this thread. Its better for records sake. Not saying its not good to connect o. But for this test, there are so many guys dat are just using nairaland for the first time. They wont be able to paste anything on this thread even if they register. It happened to me some weeks ago. Just had to open and wait for some days before I could start posting.

Opening a whatsapp group won't be the best. Since Applicants will still continue applying. It best we use dis thread.
Re: PwC Nigeria Graduate Recruitment 2017 by mcpat(m): 7:00pm On Feb 21, 2017
Please opening a Whatsapp Group is not the best decision we can make IMO.

The PwC thread has a great history on Nairaland and it is wise if we allow that continue, i can still get relevant info on the 2014 thread.

What info do you want to leave for the 2020 applicants?

Wish you guys all the best.

The verbal was the usual true false and cannot say questions. 19mins for 25 questions. If you are familiar with shl questions, it should be less difficult.

The numericals was 18 questions 24 mins, filled with averages, percentages, ratios. There was graphs and so on. for me this aspect was more time exhausting as some of the questions had data's for solution. to interprete the data alone was time consuming. It also had currency conversion questions. all in all, do your best, if you'll pass, you'll pass.

The verbal test is 30 questions in 19 mins, with 4-5 questions per passage. always the true, false or cannot say. the key to passing this is to base your answer not on the assumptions you know about the topic in real life but on only and only the words that are stated in the passage, watch out small conflicting words like when the passage says "the doctors sometimes suffer stress" and the question asked "the doctors always suffer stress ", then in this case, the answer is false. if the question asks about an assertion like "the planets all revolve around the sun" but the passage says a lot of things about planets but doesn't explicitly say anything about revolving around the sun even though you know this is true in real life, the answer is that you cannot say based on the passage. anything true will be the very same reasoning as the passage. since you have 19 mins to answer 30 questions that gives u 1.5 mins to answer one question so you have to be fast. the key is to take up 2 mins to read the passage thoroughly the first time it pops up, understand it, then you can use less than 1 min to answer the subsequent questions related to the passage. always read the question first before reading the passage so you know exactly what you are looking for in the passage, and even when you find it finish the entire passage, so you don't spend any more time reading the same passage for the subsequent related questions.

For the numerical test, you have 18 questions in 25 mins, 1.3 mins per question, this gives you ample time cos no long passage to read. You have to read the question first and look for the important variables required to solve the question. Its all about ratios, addition, percentages, no word problems forget the shl direct test, its all about interpreting tables.... tables..... tables and graphs as well.
the key is to know your short cut arithmetic; like if the sales for country A (currently $20m) increases 20% each year from year 1 what is the projected sales for year 4; instead of multiplying 20% x 20m then adding back to 20m for each of the next 3 years, simply have 20mx1.2x1.2x1.2= Ans. again if you are told that sales of January ($4m) decreased by 2% from December last year, find sales for December or as a ratio to sales from another month; think about it- January sales $4m decreased by 2% from December. lets say in percentage December sales is 100% decreased by 2% = January sales of $4m (98%), rewriting it in algebra; 0.98 of x (x is DEC sales)= $4m, x =4/0.98 to get back the 100% (x which is December sales), So practice practice practice, know how to convert your exchanges, know when to divide to get dollar or multiply to get a larger currency.

Practice, practice, practice!!!!!, hope this epps. kiss kiss kiss
