All these years Okrikans have been killing Elemes, stealing their lands and raping poor innocent women in their farm but yet the Eleme people kept mum about it. They cried in the past few years calling the government of Jonathan to come to their aide but with the presence of Mrs Jonathan, all efforts proved abortive. The Alode town of Eleme is partly taken away and Ekporo has been completely destroyed by this same Okrika elements.
Even the current issue of Elemes attacking Okrikans is a falsehood sold by Okrikans.
When i heard of the incidence, i personally traveled to Eleme and later went to Igoni hotel in Okrika to see things for myself.
The information i got from druggards of these two places were quiet similar.
A fight broke out between between two Okrika indigenes over a parcel of Alode Eleme land which was forcefully taken my Okrikans under the support of Patience Jonathan and Ateke Tom.
After the other guy had butchered his colleague, his partner in the crime (whose name i heard but would prefer it witheld) ran to Okrika to report that Eleme youths attacked and butchered their colleague.
The ravaging Okrika youths armed themselves and evaded Eleme town of Alode and kidnapped two innocent Eleme boys who were working in their mother's farm, along with other five hired labourers who hailed from different parts of Ogoni and Akwa Ibom. They were taken to the house of Ateke Tom were the people cried out for being innocent. After a brief conversation between both LGA chairmen and chiefs, the police came and picked the suspects to Okrika police station. This is just exactly what happened.
GABRIEL ALLEN SHOULD STOP PEDDLING WRONG INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC. He should focus on the Niger Delta activism that he is known for. Let him also remember that a vast majority of the guys working with him are from Eleme. This will make the guys loose trust in him.

Peace and Loving people of Okrika? Not trying to support the violence but is it not the same Okrikas that have been encroaching the boundaries with Eleme? Last year, indigenes of Ekporo were driven from their town by Okrikas.. Okrika that is surrounded by water claiming ownership of lands?
