The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it will hold the Anambra governorship election on November 18, 2017.

The electoral body announced this on Twitter handle Thursday evening.

No political party has nominated a candidate for the election yet.

Although, some politicians from the state have tacitly expressed interest in giving a shot.

On Tuesday, Andy Uba, who represents Anambra south in the senate, formally announced his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

There are feelers that he may run for the office on the platform of his new party.

Meanwhile my attention has been drawn to comments littering everywhere on social media, that Nigerians are criminals, drug peddlers etc. As in Nigerians in support of what South Africans are saying.

I would like to use this opportunity to to inform everyone that there is no nation on earth that do not have these criminals in abundance, even worst in S. Africa as it is institutionalized or better still native of the land ie if you can sieve through S. Africans comments.

So for Nigerians to castigate fellow Nigerians of this, smacks of cowardice, low self-esteem or outright ignorance. I thank God, NANS have shown that they are truly educated with their sit-up threat on stakeholders, by not allowing Nigerians frightened to submission like rats.

Anambra is APGA and APGA is anambra. Obiano has little or no opposition in the forth coming anambra alection, all thanks to apcshit poor leadership showing both at the centre and in the states level.

I'm still thinking what apcshit candidate would use as a campaighn slogan in luring voters to his side? What example or yardstic will he give to the electorate to convice them to vote for apcshit?

The only apcshit governor in se is a monumental calamity. The rest in other regions are epitoms of failure. Thank God I'm yet to see anambrarian who alighns with failures. We are conquerors, achievers, pace setters so why should we backstep to embrace and romans with born failures?...tufiakwa. We match foward and not backward.

Apcshit stand no chance in anambra state, giving that politics of stomuch infrastructure which is but apc only stategy of wining election is elien to anambra and se in general.

Anambra politics is not about luring with money because most of the supporters and politicians are comfortable, its all about influence, there is always stiff competition. One "small" boy can just emerged somewhere and rubbish and old man with influence, unlike IMO where people sells their vote for a satchet of gala and pure water.
