I just want to cry, I just want to know why people like these steal the nation's resources and , people are suffering. I just want to pick up a gun, get evil ones like these, put a gun against their temple, squeeze the bullets into their mental head.
There was once a country.

EFCC is made up of Nigerians like you and me.

If you believe you are above board then you can believe some Nigerians in EFCC are above board too.

Stop being a hypocrite! Which of these politicians are not guilty of her offense ? Is it Ajimobi, Amosun, fasola , Tinubu or is it Amaechi , Okorocha or who? They are all rogues who have stolen the wealth. So what have you done about the ones in your region ? Have you stoned them? Are they not your leaders and am sure you will be glad if one them employ you to be Pa to their children!
Truth is : we don't have a system yet to punish anyone found guilty . What is happening is selective justice and that fuels tribal sentiment . Until such a period where even if it is the president son is guilty , he will go to jail ,corruption would still be king ! So stop all these hypocrisy.

Let them take the evidence to court and get a conviction. Bringing the evidence to the media won't get them a conviction.
The conviction is important but we will make do with forfeiture for now. Anything that boosts forward reserves is good news. It was the injection of $200m by CBN that crashed dollar last week. An amount of money any of our kleptocrats can provide with ease. Let the good times roll.

These politicians are starting to realise that running to London and America with your loot is more dangerous than staying in Nigeria and defending yourself. All the EFCC will do in case you run is to supply the foreign government with evidence of your criminality and they'll try and convict you shap shap, rather than staying in Nigeria where you can hire one useless SAN to delay your case in court for 10 years till the judge sef is tired of hearing the matter come up.
That's what Obanikoro was wise enough to decipher and what Deiziani was too stupid to realise.

Forfeiture? Well, Diezani has written to let the public know she didn't forfeit anything. You seem to be suckered in by the media propaganda orchestrated by Buhari Media Centre.

This did not start today. The youths should ask their elders or better consult literature on the scandals of tribune newspaper and action group and that of west African pilot with CCB. My take is that adequate punishment without bias is the solution if we want to remain in the present structure called Nigeria.

The EFCC interim forfeiture clause only requires an application to a high court judge. It's that simple. It doesn't need the consent of the " accused" So Diezani can say whatever she likes. As the money is lodged in escrow pending final forfeiture the balance of convenience is in favour of the EFCC. I am not aware of any application being refused in the last 18 months.

Twin four-bedroom duplexes in Lekki Phase I

A mini-estate in Mabushi, Abuja
A set of 12 terrace duplexes at Omaremi Street in Port Harcourt
Large expanse of land at Oniru, Victoria Island in Lagos

Two apartments in Dubai marked as J5 Emirates Hills (30million Dirham) and E146 Emirates Hills valued at 44million Dirham

Such mindless looting! Meanwhile, the masses are really suffering. Is this not wickedness? Thunder will fire all the corrupt people sabotaging the common wealth of the nation.

When it comes to obtaining money by fraud, forgery and trickery, no man can ever match the rampaging greed and innovative brilliance of a woman entrusted with funds or assets of any description.

Perhaps it is the historic leniency with which female criminals are tried in African courts that emboldens women blessed with that gift for graft to steal massively the instant the chance appears, or perhaps there exist evolutionary explanations for the extreme greed and avarice displayed by members of the "fairer" gender who plunder by impulse when in positions of public trust. One thing is for sure, the need to steal is real, and will never die.

While one ponders the psychology of the kleptomaniac, examples of female criminal superstars emerge with regularity in Nigeria, where recently, the grasping paws of Mrs."Frog-Eye" Madueke helped themselves to several BILLION US dollars in oil wealth, and illegally acquired real estate

Chances are that even in the UK, Mrs. Frog Eye Madueke will evade the full weight of the law, simply because she is a female, and despite the industrial scale of her thefts perpetrated over several years during Nigeria's very recent past.

Controlled drama.

She will be tried in UK and jailed in UK and leaves UK prison in no time like Ibori. Celebrated and crowned at home.

Yes, if you can if you can't explain what it's doing well your account and if you say the account isn't yours then that's even more jolly! In any case the fun starts in London in March so let's see how that goes. I trust the UK SFO. They don't charge if they don't have a case.

Mark the thread and stay in touch.

Nothing is happening in London in March. Diezani has mo case with the British authorities, Magu and co are churning out propaganda to keep your eyes of the ball re absentee president. Bookmark this post and refer back to it on April 1.

Indeed.
I know the SFO well. I worked in the city for a couple of years. I can assure you with full confidence that charges are coming and that they will stick. These guys are slow but thorough.

She should have stayed in nigeria. The justice system there is a train wreck. But London. Bad idea. We will see.

...and the train has arrived FP . ...quote]

U need a logic test...

Why are the UK allowing her to be tried for a so called crime that occurred in Nigeria

Ok so UK okays her trail but when a group civil action case was brought
to a UK High court against Royal Shell, UK Court said No..they will not allow trail
to be held there....

Do you get my point Nowhuh??

Can you see selective Justice....

Oh and least I forget ..this lady was the one that pushed for the Local Oil Content Legislative Bill
in Nigeria that would have transferred "Intellectual Property" & Technological Asset know how to Nigerian Owned
Oil and Gas Firms...

Ermmm I guess you know where I going with this.....regardless of the charges against her..she tried to
do a China-Tech Bill in Nigeria and that is a NO NO to western countries...

If Madueke, a former Shell petroleum director has only $153m in cash and property, I think it is nothing compared with what CCT is prosecuting Saraki for, and some former ministers who were nobody before joining politics.

Any action taken to make political office unattractive is welcome though..
