But as of late,I feel everything I do is being made a failure..

My mum once told me that because I refuse to believe in God I will not get what I look for,although I outrightly dismissed this motion...
But of recent,everything I do is bouncing back...

My dear, No God or supreme force can punish you for not believing in man made myths.

To be an atheist, you have to be strong, determined, focused and more smart working than religious people.

It happens to everyone, christians, muslims, atheists, buddhists, hindus... Name it. Difference is prayers and the bible provides a sense of security and hope. You are comforted by the idea that "God" has got you back. Believe me it helps a lot. You need a sense of hope and as an atheist the only way is to create opportunities you can be optimistic about.

I wonder why christians keep going about telling everyone Jesus is the answer.
Christians have cancer, they have problems getting jobs, they go hungry, they owe school fees, they owe house rents, they need money, they need husbands, they are just Humans just like everyone else.
Everyone and anyone can have life challenges. Jesus is a placebo that gives a sense of hope that would help them keep going (which is good anyway)
But if you are matured and responsible, then you don't need an imaginary savior to give you hope.

This thread has made me realized the force of good the church has been to the life of people. But the world keep focusing on the negative part of the church which is drawing away people from the church. I say it with no bias the church has been more good than bad.

The Church has been a source of comfort. Money can't buy that. It has been a source of joy. It has been a source of help. It has been a source of love. It has been a source of hope. It has been a source of faith. It has been a source of encouragement. It has been a source of empowerment and above all a source of spiritual growth

I'm bold to say it that no other religion or movement has ever or will ever fill the role of the church in people's life

my dear i have once thought like this before,back then i took a break from nairaland and focused more on understanding my self and knowing i have just one life to live therefore i must sTay and fight on,and fastforward to 2017 i can say am far better than before and mind you ,don't take the jibings of this religious people serious,bad things happen to everyone likewise good things ,didn't myles munroe die in a plane crash etc.
I advice you to take a break from social media and focus on yourself,learn some computer skills,look at your surroundings and see what you can do to make money and for your info now keep your atheism secret for the time being because nigerians are very hostile to religious people

That is the mistake most people make about creating a job ( being a successful business person). The most important thing is not necessarily money). The most important thing first of all is ideas and innovation, second is ability to convert the ideas and innovation into profitable ventures and finally leverage. Leverage can be in the form of attracting capital.
Most successful business people had zero or little personal capital. Bill Gates started from his parents garage, and was turned down by many corporate giants including IBM. Richard branson started from zero. Even Dangote said he started with the N500,000 he inherited from his grandfather. Tony Elumelu, Jimoh Brahimo, MKO and lots of others started from very poor background.
Seun will tell you how he started from zero without any capital.

Where are the churches to help remedy Nigeria recession problems?

Dont we have hundred of graduates roaming the street without job? Why can't the church make connections to get them employed?

I won't Argue I just tot I would leave an advise cos am been through all that, yes God made hell fire but from what I have known it was never intended for his children just like You would not allow ur daughter to be raped or ur loved one harmed #thats if you have any at all# God protects and loves his children. It seems fear is the main factor that ties you and many other Christians to Christianity, many people including I can't operate that way. They just can't live in fear - fear of hell , fear of God, fear of devil, fear of demons, etc. It seem Christians live in a perpetual state of fear ( even though they ironically interprets it as love)

i didn't learn hell from personal experience, fear is not what ties me to Christianity, the love of God is what drew me closer to know him, I also went astray but God's love brought me close to him, wouldn't ascribe that to fear cos my family is made up of people from different religious background ,despite our view of God I don't judge or condemn wat the believe in #dont criticise what you don't believe in

2.The Economic situation in the country has naturally made it hard for fresh graduates to get good jobs!!! Nothing supernatural about that!!!

3.The easiest way to get a job now, is by having a strong connection in that company, someone who can link you!!!

5.Do you have a talent? This is the best time to develop it!!!

You are obviously not destined for failure,no one is. But there are factors that lead to the experience of lack, failure etc. From young age we have been programmed to think in a certain way and what to expect and what not to expect. The mind has therefore been indirectly programmed for failure. Most times we create all the problems we have, whether consciously or unconsciously. You must train yourself to be what you want to be. Let your mind decide, not your environment or beliefs. You are the Mathematician( problem solver), you are in control,not the problem.

Changing ones's negative mindset to positive doesn't happen overnight, it takes time. You need coaching and training in the mist of negative minded people.

You will need to cultivate new habits, you must learn to think wild and free. Avoid resistant to new ways of thinking.

Success comes in various forms. We want abundance but often misinterpret it to come with money. You don't really need jobs or money to have everything you want. Sometimes they come as gifts or a reward for your talent. The focus on money alone will often lead to disappointments.

When you become strong with your mindset( mind power) and you are now in a state where you can manifest what you want,you will start intentionally creating problems to solve them for fun. Life is the way we think it.

What you are going through is an opportunity for you to feel excited and find something to solve. The Solution is there with you. Use it!

Lastly, a winning mentality is very important. Before a task,see yourself as a winner. Winning at all cost is important in life.
