How much do you spend on rent, gas, electricity, insurance, fuel, transport etc and how much is left at the end of the day? Again, mind you, the value of pounds in London is not the same as in Lagos. Not a high horse .. yes even after paying bill what they are keft with still very sufficient and people can survive on it .. and you only pay taxes when you earn a certain amount
So what will be left after 90k or is that for eating only .. after paying bills what is left .. rent , travel etc just think for a bank the pay should be a but more 150k at least to start with .. also we have a social system here .. some government owned properties (council hosuing ) very cheap . Free meals for your kids and we have free halth care too .. please is this in Nigerian ?? No so the lay should be more so people have better quality of life ..
trust me if i take my wages and spendin Nigeria i will classed stinking rich here im just comfortable .. do u get my point now ??

Some over here DON't even work get money from Government when unemployed here you get paid to find work .. and even that worth more than 90k think it should be much higher ..

N im speaking from a business owner who has staff on payroll so maybe my reply a bit biased have to ask so eone doing a 9-5 on low income .. Trust me you have no idea how much tax i pay .. hmm. If you know you will cry but still better off

Salaries of banker aren't based on roles but in levels, the average entry level staff (full time not contract) earns roughly 160k per month...

while others see 90k as a big salary, others see same as being underpayed (including me) but all the same, of you got no alternative, just manage that for the time being.

i have tried and on two occassions i did not go beyond their interview stage. i tried again this year but unfortuanetly they not accepting for bsc...i just love the bank thou

but i think they favour females more for that customer service role

90/100k smh. They even tried. Learnt Zenith was 70k at time.

Half bread is better than none but my observation is that most times graduates equate being a graduate to work or career with the work environment, brand or organisation. For those working in private firms all over Abuja, PH and Lagos, they dress up to work for 30k (à sister in law graduate worked and sweated for 30k in a real estate firm but now in a federal ministry earning 70k), 40k and 50k jobs! Does that really represent one's worth after several years in school? Most daily income hustlers some look down on are earning better. At minimum average of 5k daily they make 150k.

While everyone may not be cut out to do business, and so must work for a start, in the long run be enterprising! Even at the end of your career or if you lose your job, enterprise becomes your last resort or you languish. So I believe strongly that graduates can innovate and create jobs...teller jobs for instance are secondary school leavers' job! Anyone can be trained to do such routine jobs.

Anyway remember this; It is not enough to earn & carry about a certificate! That's phase 1. Life is about relevance & providing solutions. Someone right now somewhere is looking for someone who can do something for him/her & get paid! Opportunity Meets with preparation! Is your worth only in that paper certificate even though you hardly have a REAL skill? Therefore; EACH DAY , LET YOUR CAPITAL BE YOUR KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & BARE HANDS!

120 to 150k. Nurses would get much lower. The worst of it is that there's just no structure to the private sector. 4 years after, you'll wish you never took the job.

i hear entry level is now 82k and would increase to 142k after about 2 years

any more details on this please?

To those asking:
Customer service Jobs in the bank industry attracts a basic fee of between 75-85 net.
Actual remuneration differs from bank to bank, however the forth coming recruitment for UBA in the customer Service job will starts with 55K as a probation salary scale without benefits.

The entry level for the Job is OND but truth be told no bank is expected to hire on a permanent basis an OND rather should be on Intern level, necessitating the qualification included in the job post. In recruiting, UBA will recruit University or HND graduates and start them with 55k and upon 6 months confirmation will increase to between 75-85. Note: All customer Service jobs comes with target and monthly evaluation so be guided accordingly.
