How much dignity do we treat ourselves with within the country? Don't you realise these people read about and see images of jungle justice, police brutality, army brutality, ethnoreligious intolerance, political rascality, corruption, etc? The way a man treats his wife at home in the presence of his visitors is the same way they regard her outside her home.

This reminds me of the High priests and temple officials in the Roman empire. They knew Rome was their master, but they needed to be seen as standing up to Rome, but once a while Rome would remind them who was their master.
You probably saw the news on DSTV, called your travel agent with an MTN LINE, bought some chewing gum from SPAR, bought a SOUTH AFRICAN AIRWAYS ticket, just so you can go and look like you are actually doing something. Nigerian legislators are just prostitutes by other name.

Finally, someone mentions retaliation. I don't know what they're afraid of. Retaliation is last resort but a gun shown shows seriousness, Even though it might not be shot. And I wonder why people call for the head of the S'African king who imcited people then and defend Apostle Suleman. They did the same thing, they both felt their people were losing and decided the best thing they could do was to attack the enemy. Just imagine if the apostle's disciples had taken his instruction to heart. That was how B'Haram started. Two wrongs don't make a right.

Our leader are so unserious or should i say that they lack what it takes to be country leaders. Nigerian citizens have been attacked severally unjustly by these animals called South African and now what they think best is to send delegates to go to SA, spend our resources, waste time and go for jamboree in SA. This means that they dont have what it takes to sit in this country and make SA knw hw serious we are down here. Does it mean that SA is such a strong country that Nigeria is so afraid of that we need to go there and beg them to stop killing our ppl.

You mean to tell me that if Nigeria start killing American citizens here that Donald Trump will send delegates to Nigeria to beg us not to kill his citizens?

This is the same way one yeye politician told us that they spent several millions to settle the herdsmen that are killing Nigerians from other African regions instead of arresting and prosecuting them. This country has sink so so low.

There is no way we can waste our scarce resources to fly a 5-man delegation there to go and seek for peace. Why are we like this in this country. They are the ones who provoked us, they are the ones that have everything to loose. They are the ones making big money out of Nigeria. They have big investments here.Their national carrier makes billions on this Lagos - SA route. We don't have anything there other than our people hustling there. They should be the ones coming here to beg for forgiveness by the time we deal with them here squarely. They got everything to loose not us. Therefore that trip is unjustifiable.

We need to get serious about our foreign policy

So that our citizens outside of the shore of Nigeria can be treated with dignity

Which government?. FYI Nigeria does not have any government. All we have are just bunch of stagnant minded crooks who only make laws and policies without implementing them. The only function they perform to we Nigerians is representing us in any international meetings or organization.
A government that doesn't care about it's citizen. Is that what you call a government?
A government that only go into action when it affects them. Is that what you call a government?

As far as I am concern, Nigeria does not have any government.

Apparently, many of the slaves taken to America, Europe and the west indies were from Nigeria - Slavery lasted 400 years without much revolt and fight from these docile slaves!

It explains why Nigerians by design are very docile, weak minded, enduring of oppression and acepting of humiliation.

It explains why indians, chinese, Nigerian politicians, military governments and others can abuse Nigerians repeatedly without any repercussions.

The world has come to realize that and they use the opportunity to dehumanize, abuse and torment Nigerians at home and globally.

Read this statement by a Nigerian leader

"Gbajabiamila, who is leading the House six-man delegation to South Africa, next Monday, explained that the retaliation would be detrimental to both countries" - This is the person representing the country that has lost dozens of its citizens and it is still happening!

They have been sending delegations for years since the attacks started but more delegations and more begging is required.

You have to weep for that useless country!

[quote author=DirtyGold post=54377361]In otherwords, you people are going to see how you can beg them to cooperate with you?
I would have preferred they summon the south africans to come apologize (with compensations) and advance how they will prevent future occurrences since they are the offenders.

We really have jokes as leaders in a country that claims to be giant of Africa... Is this how USA, Britain, Russia etc will respond to this?

What's tha business?[/quote

We don't mind apologizing but at the same time all Igbos and afonjas to get the hell out SA.
