I know an argument must have ensued in the course of the whole thing which must have triggered the shooting (if I'm not mistaken). But I keep asking myself, why would anyone want to argue with people with guns, huh? No matter what or how much is involved, it can never be worth your life, no, never!

Did they smuggle the rice into the country, or steal it, of which the best action is to shoot them?
This country is dead. The system is just totally flawed when there are no standard rules of engagement for its armed agencies to follow.

What is more wrong is thr arbitrary use of lethal force by security agents. From NPF-SARS-Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, DSS now Nigerian Customs. These people in these agencies brazenly abuses power with attitude.

Until we compel the legislature to critically look into the bye-laws that establishes these agencies and their responsibilities in terms of duties within jurisdictions, im afraid it would continue.

In develooed countries, you can't , as a law enforcement agent, pull a gun on an unarmed person, talkless pull the trigger. It calls for summon and citation could be issued against such.
