You don't understand all this foreign investors.If they are coming to invest in Africa they don't use their own money.They come to our banks to acquire loans to start it.If they default in paying back their companies will be liquidated while they launder the profit to their respective countries.

It depends. They will most likely be taken over by the banks, and then Top Management is replaced, life goes on. But of cos, there might be some plans and tarriff restructuring.

In the case there are no buyers for their assets, then u end up having just a phonebook in your phone. Unused data and airtime gone. (See Mtel, starcomms)
But that's hard to imagine.

They will most likely be sold-debt purchase, even if the banks decide not to run it.

Good radiance to bad nonsense. They lost me the day my data was wiped out for "fraudulent activities", after I recharged and subscribed to a 2,000 Naira data plan. I went to their customer care service to understand what "fraudulent activities" they uncovered. On one occasion,I requested to see their manager at a local customer service outlet. He said the "fraudulent activities" would most likely be using "cheats" -getting data without appropriate subscription, something I never ever did. I had to port from their thieving network after 2 months when no answers were provided.
Etisalat Nigeria will not be missed.
