The good news still moves to 14km Umunankwo-Mputu-Ogwuaniocha road in Ogbaru Local Government, as HE Chief Dr Willie M. Obiano inspects the road to these agrarian communities. His Excellency made a firm promise to link the road to across Ulasi river to Ihiala with a bridge.

The Igwe of Ogwuaniocha thanked Obiano for taking it to heart to build the road, he reaffirmed the support of his community to Obiano's administration. He used the opportunity to inform the governor about the activities of some oil companies who are coming to tap the abundant oil deposits in Ogwuaniocha and asked to government to adopt the community as one of the communities that would be included in oil producing communities in the state.

OGWUANIOCHA IS AN OIL RICH TOWN IN OGBARU LGA OF ANAMBRA STATE.

Gov Obiano today inspected the 14.3km Umunankwo-Mputu- Ogwuaniocha Road in Ogbaru Promising to Build a Bridge into Ihiala.

Over 8km of this all important road which is the only access route into these agrarian communities is now motor-able.

With this link road and bridge those traveling from Lagos/Edo/Delta to Rivers, Imo, Anambra etc will have no need getting inside Onitsha thereby decongesting Upper Iweka and Owerri road.

The worst is that of Egbema. They cut the community into two, put one part in Rivers state and put the other in Imo.

Today there is Egbema in Imo and Egbema Rivers.

No worries, when we start practicing full Regionalism, all these states they used to perpetuate 'divide and rule' will be dissolved.
