Former Governor of Kano state, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso has, Tuesday, reportedly defected from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, party to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
According to reports not yet authenticated, Senator Kwankwaso defected with 10 Kano state lawmakers.
His defection may not be unconnected with his ordeals in the ruling party.

It's no longer New or should it be a news to you that Sheriff faction of PDP is the recognised party by law concerning the internal issue in pdp

PDP or Advanced PDP? Anyway, I don't know if thiss is true but it is a Possibility. It's an opportunity to slide in and fit in. Since sheriff and maikarfi factions are being avised by some quaters to step down and the question is step down for who? Mr Kwanks may have just seen an opening to relevance.
