Arsenal will make an audacious bid to land France international striker Antoine Griezmann, should Alexis Sanchez leave the north London club this summer - according to reports.

The 25-year-old Atletico Madrid frontman is being heavily linked with a summer move away from the La Liga side.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is a huge admirer of Griezmann and has been tipped to launch a big-money move.

But, according to Tuttosport, Arsenal are ready to battle it out with their Premier League rivals for his signature.

With the Griezmann having €100m release clause in his current deal, the Italian journal suggests that Arsenal are prepared to loosen the purse strings this summer with or without Arsène Wenger at the helm.
