Yes, that's the exchange rate I used when I placed some orders last night using my VISAcard.

I buy a lot of stuff on aliexpress. My phone, wireless mouse, phone case.........etc. I have verified the seller @iliyande posted and he is ok. His orders are over 200 and customers comments are larger positive.

CavendishPlex:

Thanks for the info. I have never bought anything on AliExpress 'cos of fear of scams. I just might consider this.

I see you quoted it comes with free shipping down to Nigeria. How long did it take to receive your package?

Normal dish installation for free to air
For Internet TV, you need kodi, mobdro, wss, sybla or Ustream. Kodi needs to be configured with so many addons like sportsdevil, Phoenix, champion sports and many others
Please can you tell me which add-on to download on Kodi on NEXBOX A95X TV.

For games, install sportsdevil, zem, Phoenix etc.

I don't watch movies so much, but I recommend exodus add-on for movies.

Buffering depends on somany reasons starting from the site, network etc. For me, I use Glo 4G, at times it buffer but little. Glo is very good here. At times I use 3g sef.
U can also download wss 2.0, it is a bit reliable but data consuming

Under stportdevil, u have an option of what resolution to watch matche

During live match..... Under sportsdevil, go to live sports - livefootballvideo.com. There you will see all lives matches of the day, on each one you wish to watch are of different resolution starting from above 10000kbs to 300kbs depending on your network speed and the site too. Some sites are heavy. Any sites that buffers alot, change to another one.

Any resolution below 300kbs consume less than 200mb

Chief, could you help me out with where you got the WD My net central n900 2tb?

I'm thinking of a similar setup for my home.

bigboa:

Yeah but you can use an air mouse/keyboard combo (I had to buy 1 as the remote is horrible for data entry). I have a WD My net central n900 2tb. Its not a true NAS in the real sense of it but it does everything a NAS can do except raid. It also allows me to combine my router and storage. I still think the remix mini is your best bet. I recommended it to a friend and Hes enjoying it. Also, all of them are the same, just have different launchers except for the boxes with terrestial input. You will however be hard pressed to get a post 2015 box with such as wire cuttingis all the rage.
Re: Which Android TV Box Is Best For Use In Nigeria by Loneley: 10:06am On Mar 10, 2017
Also, what seller do you recommend for Kiii?

Saw quite a bunch of them on Aliexpress.

bigboa:
I have had K iii since last year and its cool for streaming from my NAS; don't really do live streaming. Just buy remix mini off konga. Its about 18k. You can then install Kodi, Mobdro and SyblaTV for live streaming and ES Explorer and MX Player for local content.

In AliExpress, what I think you should do is check the various TV boxes and go through the ratings of the various sellers (5 stars is definitely better than a 4 star or less), their response time in delivery and more importantly, the reviews by previous buyers. This I think should give you an insight on which sellers you can trust. You may be lucky to have reviews done by Nigerians.

Checking out a seller that has recorded quite a sizeable amount of sales of your desired TV box is surely advised.

I am subscribed to a company called KKONTECH that has its fibre optics cabling running through my estate in Gbagada and I get unfettered access to internet download speed of about 10Mbps. I watch YouTube, Netflix & others on my Smart TV without any buffer all for N10,500 per month.

Lol. I would've loved to adopt you, but I have all the kids I ever wanted. grin

I have been using this Internet service for almost one year and it's been Internet streaming in all its glory. Well, just like any other service, there are those downtime experiences, but then the happy times far outweigh the sad times.

Only recently, I stumbled upon a YouTube video on the Android TV box and got interested. Ever since then, I had watched several videos and browsed the internet checking out different TV boxes until I settled for the one I'm hoping to receive soon. Once I'm home, I hardly watch DSTv, and so feel I'm wasting away hard earned money. You know how boring those program repeats and old school movie line-ups can be

Besides, with the unlimited internet access coupled with the Android TV box, DSTv will have to take a rest.

I finally picked up my Android TV box today from the post office exactly 15 days after placing the order. I monitored the shipment so diligently on the AliExpress app as well as using the recommended 17track app (this is actually better). As soon as the 17track app showed it was now in the domain of NGLOS and NGSHOM (Shomolu post office), I had to pay them a visit.

For those who wait longer for their items, I reckon it's because they wait endlessly for the post office staff either send them an arrival slip or send them an SMS. Well, I need not tell you what to expect from our government workers under such circumstances.

Good enough I had watched so many YouTube videos about several Android TV boxes, setting mine up was a breeze. I got the Beelink Mini MXIII box with 2GB/16GB RAM & NAND respectively. It runs the Android 6.0 OS. For easy operation, I also got the i8 mini wireless keyboard.

T'is time to rock this device.
