Hmmm
I usually wash like that because he sweats a lot on his head. I guess I'll reduce the number of times I wash his hair.

Thanks ma'am

MizMyColi:

You know that soap is chemical, it can lead to discoloration.
You wey kuku be neat freakgrin I just dey imagine how Spik and span the hair will be looking by the time you are through with it.

Zaynie (Get well soon) kiss says it's not cool to always wash the hair, but Mbok, I couldn't resist pouring water and tin tini soap and I now wash mine once a day.

Then during the weekend I Wash well with soap.
If you are up for it, you can get baby shampoo.

Our Sabi mamas are coming to help you with more solutions. Pele dear.

don't feel bad, just try and talk to the student so that they will understand the schools opinion for their decision. I attended that kind of school. Just talk it out with them. And keep your job

mothers pls advice me on what to do o, kinda in a mess right now. Öne of my student came with drinks and cake to school today to celebrate her birthday, i wasnt aware that there's a ban òn the celebration of birthday in the school, she neva informed me as her class teacher dat she'll celebrate her bday in schøol today. When i and some teachers got to knw abt it, we adviced them to do it quietly after closing hours, they called me when they were abt to start my intentiön was to go there and pray for her. But some other teachers heard their noise and told them to report themselves to the school authority. I tried to beg for them to jux take the stuffs home becos everythn will fall bk on me at the end of the day as i am their class teacher. At the end of the day i took the issue to the principal, cos i knw most of the teachers there they like to spite or implicate others. The principal said they should have involved the school, my mind was still not settled cos i was scared that the proprietor will still hear abt it so i reported the case to the proprietor, and he asked to see the student, but i feel bad abt the whole issue

Aww. Don't feel too bad. Don't worry. This too shall pass. I think you should have allowed the principal handle things and not involve the proprietor.

The principal is there for a reason. Such a "petty" issue is within his job description and he would have handled things well.

What is the punishment for erring students? As long as it's not expulsion, then it's okay.

What is the punishment for teachers that have been found to encourage students to disobey the ban? As long as it's not dismissal, then you are fine.

Apologise to the principal/proprietor and also have the student apologise profusely as well. After all it was an ordinary "class birthday party", it's not like they were caught bonking each other lipsrsealed undecided

Good afternoon mamas
Please I noticed my ds hair is gradually turning brown at the tips. I've been using Nycil baby oil for his hair and I bath him with Nycil baby soap. I also wash his hair everytime I bath him and I bath him twice a day everyday.
What can I do to stop the whole hair from changing color?

Also he has started licking/sucking/chewing his hands. I thought it was a sign of hunger but when I give him breast he will refuse when I give him formula he will refuse. He equally sucks his tongue since in the womb

You are washing the hair too much! It stripes it of the natural oils that maintains the hair. You can pour water each time you give a bath but wash with baby shampoo once a week, don't use his bathing soap to wash the hair. Use shampoo. You will see the difference

I totally believe washing baby head/hair daily is bad. I was worried as to why my babies hair were falling off, my boy had no hair (you would think he was shaven), my girl had hair but all of a sudden started balding from the back and side (she only had hair at the centre of her head). Was so sadddd.

Though all this time I was not in charge of their bathing and not always at home, even when I gave instruction that their hair/head should be oiled always they still failed and would put oil just at the centre of their head. (that was why they both had hair at the centre of their head).

When the persn taking care of them left and I took over their bathing, and I also read online that dialy watering and soaping the hair/headd is bad I stopped bathing their head daily.

Now, iyou need to see, within a month, they both have healthy hair over th head.plus I oil their hair evenly daily.

Note: I always pure water on their head morning n evening cos it's cooling however I don't scrub it.

try bread and tea instead of water.

or a snack like home made meatpie.

if you live in a cold climate area, catarrh in toddlers are like 5 and 6. olbas oil, eucalyptus oil, feeding them fruits are known to help.

Thanks mama, I was already planning to use tea, na to just add bread.

@ovems, amen. Thanks.

You can add chicken pox and MMR. As at December, this was what my son had.
MMR 7500, chicken pox 4500, CSM 1500, typhoid 4500.

Thanks mama. She already took all these earlier. She ended up taking meningitis and typhoid fever, I think.

Have you tried someone else feeding her in your absence. Sometimes they can tell its you and will refuse the bottle from you. But they will take from others.... yeah babies can be scheming little bundles of fluff. grin They are programmed to find our mumu button and hold on to it.

If you are out with hubby or whoever, let them try feeding her the expressed milk. And see if she takes it.

For breast feeding in public, you can try a breast feeding cover / shawl. I am not a big fan of whipping out my boobs to breast feed, So i always had a cover with me.

Also i always wore a stretchy vest underneath my top. Especially of it is a top i have to raise up. You raise the top up and pull the vest down so that your tummy remains covered. I struggled with button down tops as my boobs were too big for the tops to button and i refused to buy new clothes.

Dont even use by mistake to wear oshelenge dress in the name of sexiness or bubu, or buba and wrapper with long chemise underneath. you no go know when you go nake.d in the name of finding breast.....

( all from experience- luckily it was as we were getting home, baby screaming her lungs off, tight-me-dress no gree unzip, wrapper no gree untie, at least bubu was easy to get off....lol! )

Having someone else feed eith bottle is so true.
My hubby feels am not patient enough or i dont knoe how to bottle feed.
Becos my girl will take bottle very well from him. Esp when am not within sight.

Something she does again is suck every 30secs wen am there. She will just take small n come back again in 5mins. Like... she is saying "momma b on stand by"

But if i pump n give her dad... she eats till she doses off. Lol

You also get a lot out.
