Even if he competes with incumbent Vice President Professor Yomi Osinbajo for the position of President, he would surely defeat him in APC.
Wake up...You are dreaming.

IPOB and IPOND, see yah life. Na only your God dey catch people against yah agitations. God is not mocked, whatsoever, a man soweth so shall he reap.

God is not a man or a son of man that can lie. God cannot wish El-Rufai bad as you guys are praying or allow your evil thought against Nigeria to come to fruition.

God pass you people.

"The institution ranked sixth among the world best universities."

By which ranking organisation and what were the methodology(ies) used?

To those wishing for this man to be president, please note this is the same man who said anyone "who kills a Fulani has a price to pay no matter how long it takes".

Such refined gentleman of the letters...I love the sound of the course. Philosophy in Governance!!!

Amazing, our future president

- "The institution ranked sixth among the world best universities." (I doubt this information) shocked
- "I’m looking forward to teaching H.E.@elrufai in November, student at UNU Merit/Maastricht University.” (Is he undertaking course works and research) or (Coursework based PhD grin grin grin)

With a doctorate, Nasir el Rufai would be in the best position to mount the highest position in the Land.

Even if he competes with incumbent Vice President Professor Yomi Osinbajo for the position of President, he would surely defeat him in APC.

He has the sterling qualities - first as technocrat - second as one with experience in modern day political governance.

Even Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan knows this as fact.

I wish his thesis would focus on grassroot development in Nigeria using the case of Lagos & Abuja to build on.

You should be.
Like a lecturer of mine once said, Very soon, we'll all have to pay the white just to learn our own language.
Nobody should abandon their own mother tongue.

Is this allowed? Going for studies abroad while holding an official post?
I tire. Ths is not fair on the people. Go to school if you want to but don't use your official hours. This shouldn't be allowed at all. A three days training is ok but not PhD. The work is very burdensome to combine with governance. However, policy studies and analysis is an essential part of governance that leaders must learn to create and evaluate formulated policies. Just doing the right thing at the wrong time

Dont even think about it.

In terms of infrastructural development, he may be good but he is still a religious bigot, fanatic, stubborn, proud and egoistic. Nigeria will catch fire under him.

The Constitution of Nigeria should be amended to take care of an absentee President or Governor with regard to how many days or weeks they can stay away from office with violation attracting immediate removal from their positions. Absentee President or Governor is a situation that was unforseen by drafters of the 1999 Constitution. Therefore, amendment of the Constitution is needed to this effect.
