I have spare time now.. So here is what happened with megabet aka greatest scam betting site in the world.
On sunday i decided to play just few matches i was sure of with 10k. Tottenham was among the games on my mind cos i believed they would play over 3.5goals but to be on a safer side i would play over 2.75 instead with bonanzawin for better odds. I got to bonanzawin the site refused to open. I don't trust nairabet cos the 5k them chop me since January when i was funding hasn't been reversed and devil fit cause wahala make the 10k i wan fund hang. Bet9ja was having problems with me funding. So i thought of another bookie then i remembered megabet. I funded and sharply 10k enter without otp. I played the game.. total odds was 4+. Everything click i enter the site later that night only for me to see 30k as my winnings. I was surprised. I checked the ticket they didn't green Tottenham. I know they played exactly 3goals but the odds of over 2.75 was 2odds.. so they would av to reduce the odds to something else and calculate the money. But what i calculated was wrong. 30k was smaller compared to how bonanzawin calculates theirs. So out of anger i messaged them and called them cheat. Went to bed woke up the next morning and decided to payout the 30k like that. The money was paid out and then i headed for work. When i got to my workplace i decided to check my phone.. i saw a mail telling me payout declined due to either multiple account blah blah.. i replied i don't av any multiple account and blah blah. Then i saw another mail telling me i should pick up my phone. The number i used to register was in my other phone which was in my bag. I brought the phone out and saw missed calls from unidentified caller. The caller called again i picked up and it was one foolish man that said he was from Megabet. At first The guy threatened me for calling megabet cheat then he calmed down and told me that i should withdraw everything in my account while they investigate the matter. I said okay and then tried to withdraw again but the site refused to allow me. Then i mailed them. The person replied and said i should send my account details and how much i want to withdraw that they would send me the money manually. I did thay and After 3mins i received an alert of 15k only. Was shocked.. went back to megabet to login so that i will know if the remaining 15k was there but voila! They wiped off my account.

1) On Monday evening, we received 3 very aggressive messages from a customer. Accusing us of cheating him and having a very threatening tone. The title of the email read "COMPLETE MY MONEY" Please see the messages below:

As far as we know, we have not had any previous communication with this customer regarding this issue or any other contention. So we investigated the bet he claimed we cheated him on, and here is the bet below:

It turns out that this customer does not know the difference between Asian Total Goals Over/Unders 2.75 and normal Total Goals Over/Under 2.5
He placed a bet of Asian Total Goals over 2.75 and the matched ended with 3 goals. (Can anyone kindly explain the difference to him please). The ticket was settled correctly, according to his bet and his money was paid into his account as normal. But the customer kept sending threatening messages that he will "NOT AGREE", etc. One of our agents decided to call him to explain, but his phone was ringing but no answer.

The new morning he came on the live chat to issue the same threats as before, claiming that we had cheated him. At that point the issue was escalated above customer services to the operations head and our customer service agent explained to him that we have been trying to call him to explain but he was not answering. Eventually, after issuing at least 3 threats via various mediums (Email, Live Chat), an assessment was made by our head of operations to offer him to withdraw his money and his account be closed. His money was paid to him within 2 minutes, and his account was closed. He was informed of this. We thought the matter was over, after all there are many bookmakers he can use, as we do not take threats to our agents lightly.

The very next day, this same man sneaks in to open another account, and deposits 2,000 Naira. (Please note, if he was so upset with megabet, why is he coming to open another account?). Of course this is against our terms and conditions, so the new account he opened was closed immediately. And this morning, the 2,000 he funded to the account was sent back to his account in full (Note that we incur charges to refund his money in full).

Since then, the man has been sending email upon email with threats and anger. This just goes to prove that our boss made the right decision to say "thanks but no thanks".

The decision has been made Sir, we apologise to you but we will not be offering our services to you because you violated our terms of service by threatening us and our agents and making false and baseless accusations out of lack of understanding of what you bet on. There are many bookmakers, you can choose any one of them. This matter is closed. Thank you.


N.B. So this entire claim that Megabet cheated him is down to a simple fact that this customer does not know the difference between Asian Total Goals, and ordinary Total Goals.
