What Do You Think Is The Solution To Nigeria's Problems by Nobody: 1:33pm On Mar 23, 2017
Is the Solution to Nigeria, killing all our greedy Leaders who refuse to cooperate with her citizens?

Is the Solution to Nigeria, adoption of the colonialists, who would give Fair Decisions?

Air your View's...

So that Recession and Corruption will be past tense in Nigeria.

No family with hatred is at peace. Progress doesn't exist. I think disintegration is the solution and way forward or confederation.

For me, the solution to nigeria's problem is dissolution. Every entity should go their separate ways.

That way, the Hausas/Fulanis will respect the Yorubas, thye Yorubas will respect the Igbos, the Igbos will respect the Hausas, the Huasas will respect the Igbos and the Igbos will respect the Yorubas. Othe ethnic minorities should decide on their own free volition where to belong and be respected.

The greatest mistake in human history is to have lumped the Igbos, the Yorubas and the hausa in one artificial country.
The Igbos have no cultural, religious, social and any form of similarity with the Hausa and the yorubas. The same goes for the Yorubas and the Hausas/Fulanis.

Do you know that more development will come to each country after separation. The yorubas are the most educated and they have a seaport to their advantage and other natural resources. The hausas can reenact their groundnut pyramid, ohh i forgot, oil has been discovered in commercial quantity in the north. The Igbos can go back to their oil palm.

The beauty of life everywhere and anywhere is freedom. This includes freedom to self determination as enacted in the human right declaration.

The above to me will permanantly put a stop to the level of ethnic hatred and injustice in this country.

My humble submission.

The problem of nigeria isn't the leadership, I think the problem is high population, 180 million is too much for the economy of nigeria, Your gdp is very good for at least 50 million population, In SA our people are fighting because our gdp isn't enough for SA population, The only solution is to adopt one child policy per couple, till the economy matches the population like china, I think it is the only solution, Most countries in europe their population is too low compare to ours with high gdp. Check europe countries GDP and population you will see what I am talking about, our population is playing against us, not our governments. If I am wrong tell me grin

The solution to Nigeria's problems is regional governance. Let South South, South East, South West, North West, North East and North Central leaders and populace develop their regions, let there be leader (though not compulsory) be at the central to aid interactions between the regions

See a thread that did not make FB.
If it was python now or some religious man miliki one lady, FP straight.

Our problems are numerous:
Disunity: we have no unity in our diversity as we pretend. Being divided, we cannot put heads together with common purpose and chart a path of progress.

Corrupt elite
: Here disunity plays a big part. We cannot fight corruption because the elite hide under ethnicity & religion to divide public opinion when caught. This state of affairs has gradually trickled down into all facets of life now, Corruption is deep-rooted like an iroko tree now.

No patriotism: Because people do not believe in Nigeria, they feel no obligation to serve it faithfully & honestly. Arewa, Biafra, Oodua republic for example would command more patriotism. We belong to our tribes first of all. For example, we belong to our family first before the street or city we live in.

And many more.

Solutions are possible with time. But we need a dedicated & selfless political elite to do the right thing.
First is true devolution of powers to the regions. It can be 4 to 6 regions. 6 as it is now or SS, SE, SW, North. Or SS, SE, SW, Middle Belt, North. And with sweeping powers like own police, tax, employment, economic development, own resource control, anti-corruption, penal code, education rules/laws and implementation. etc. Richer regions would contribute around 50% to the centre for redistribution.

But many think regionalism is preparing for disintegration. Wrong. Happy regional entities are likely to remain loyal than an unhappy behemoth like now.

FG should handle defense/national security, foreign policy, currency, Federal crime/judiciary, aspects of employment, national infrastructure, issues of strategic national importance, etc.

That way, fighting corruption can be done at regional level in addition to Federal.
