This is a very situation I find myself. It's all because of my silly mistake...I registered for the UTME on Thursday which is the 23rd of March. I have my e registration slip with me.
When I was asked for my WAEC examination number I gave a wrong one.. My WAEC examination number is 42****9**2 but I gave 42****8**2
I'm so confuse right now..I don't know what to do...I got to know of the mistake on Friday

Any advice on what step to take...My admission is at stake..

I don't know to move this to the front page...

u cnt remedy it since it has already been submitted.

. Am nt sure it has any effect tho as u will still input it on d school's site when registering 4 Screening exercise after d Jamb Exam. it is only during post utme/screening dat ur Results are checked, it is den u need 2 b sure d Exam No is correct while filling it on d school's website.

Just keep calm. Jamb does not check ur result or send ur exam number to schools of your choice.

its not something serious cause u will input dat on the school portal u applied for...........the only thing is jamb might not send you. those text messages for private school ready to give u admission

i suggest you visit nearest jamb state office for clarification. asumption might be risky.

I made the same mistake during my registration too coz I used 2 sittings and I made the mistake filling in one of it.

long story short, I got the admission.

I don't think anybody cross checks whatever info is uploaded. they just needs it for records sake and what u need ultimately is to rectify it in your school when you finally get the admission.

The biometric man asked for my exam number which I couldn't provide

I am currently scared
This year's Jamb is becoming scary. I don't want the situation whereby jamb won't give me admission.
