oyenusi seems like a man mopol, but anini connect! He shook the nation to the extent that the then president , Ibrahim babangida summon the then IG and ordered him to give him anini

Yeah! It's true that Babangida ordered the arrest of the fearsome Anini and he has a lot of underdogs, but imagine, when he (Anini) was caught, he cowered and blabbed what he was not even asked. Infact he went to the extent of shedding tears. But Oyenusi smiled (though it's a fake one) to the stakes. This shows how brutal, unremoseful and unrepentant Oyenusi was. Oyenusi was also dubbed Dr. Rob and kill, why? He never let anybody he robbed lived! Anini did!

Thanks for the memory lane .

Find below some clarifications:
1. Inspector George Iyamu wasn't executed alongside Anini . He was executed on the 14th of February 1987 (Valentine's Day) at Asoro Hill in Ekehuan road (they were the first to be executed there - the old execution ground was at Oregbeni (Ikpoba Hill ) in Benin City.

2. Inspector George Iyamu was executed alongside 8 or 9 other members of Anini s gang...can't remember the exact number.

3. Lawrence Anini was executed alongside his marksman Monday Osunbor on the 29th of March 1987.

Those were days ... Executions were made public and usually aired on National TV !
Very gory but it sent the right message to many .
