op this is what happens when you copy and paste without thorough checking of the article, it's either the mother of the victim died 2014 or the the child is 7yrs or maybe this incident happened 2013 which ever way just know your story is not corresponding with the date you quoted.

We never got to know what became of her, I hope she's still in jail though. I've done searches on her, none of our "seasoned journalists" never bothered to do a follow up on the case, na only to copy and paste they sabi.
